Yes, and support also works on fleets who are ordered to convoy.

Sorry if this is a repeat, but didn't find any clear answers.

If i put support hold orders for unit A to support hold unit B, which itself has orders to move, but only with the purpose of bouncing off an enemy unit, does the support hold it gets from unit A still stand (ie. is unit B supported in hold even though it's orders were to move instead of hold, but failed).
