Player 1's move succeeds 2v1v1. A plurality, not a majority, will do.

New player, quick question...

by cbodds » Fri Apr 24, 2020 9:34 pm

I'm playing my first ever game of diplomacy and we're getting into the thick of it now with lots of units in close contact.

There is a vacant territory that three players may try to occupy. 1player has 1 other unit supporting, so strength of 2. The two other players have just one unit each and are not allied, neither will have support.

Does the player with the support take the territory because they are the single strongest player in the exchange or, does everyone bounce out because a player with strength 2 met two units that were opposed to him (even though they were not working togetger).

Thanks for the help.
