There are a couple of places where you can find out more about F2F tournaments - here is the current listing for North America:

Vancouver, BC, Canada, Jan 27-28, Cascadia Open. Contact: Chris Brand.

Marlborough, MA, Feb 23-25, TotalCon. Contact: Randy Laurence-Hurt.

San Jose, CA, March 31-April 1, Whipping Diplomacy Tournament. Contact: Siobhan Nolen, or [email protected]

Glen Ellyn, IL, April 13-15, CodCon. Contact: [email protected].

Chapel Hill, NC, May 25-27, DixieCon. Contact: David Hood, [email protected]

Philadelphia, PA, TBD (probably August), Liberty Cup (2017's website). Contact: Christian Pedone.

Indianapolis, IN, August 3-5, GenCon. Contact: Thomas Haver.

Chicago, IL, August 31-September 2, Weasel Moot (information will be here when available). Contact: [email protected].

Boston, MA, TBD (probably September), Boston Massacre (2017 site). Contact: Randy Laurence-Hurt.

Washington DC, October 5-7, World Diplomacy Championships at Tempest in a Teapot (information will be here when available). Contact: Peter Yeargin or [email protected].

Killington, VT, November 2-4, CarnageCon (2017 website). Contact: Robert Rousse.

And yes, Spark is like Discord or Slack. A lot of f2f players are using it to organize, but we have our fair share of online players as well. PM me if you want an invite.

If y'all are carpooling from Seattle, you might want to mention it in the Spark room - I think there are others from there heading up.

Cascadia Open Tournament

FTF Diplomacy Jan 27-28 in Vancouver BC.
See https://www.facebook.com/events/113226176053688/

Two rounds (maybe 3?) over the two days.

I am not in charge of anything, just attended last year and will attend again this year. Was fun. Last year Chris (Brand, organizer) tried to make it as comfortable as possible for the non-pro FTF'ers (i.e. us play-by-webbers) in terms of procedures (e.g. no common clock and more relaxed order deadlines). If anybody wants a ride/carpool from the Seattle area let me know.
