The great thing about having Mothering Sunday in March is you can pick daffodils for a free present practically anywhere.

So... Happy Mothers' Day... because everyone has one. Even if you don't remember her fondly, or didn't meet her.... or wish you hadn't...

And I recall the motorcycle gang I wanted to join when I was a teenager... a sub-chapter of Hell's Angels who called themselves: Ugly Muthers. I once asked a member why they chose that name (risking a shanking...) and he said, "Because this way we have a holidary every May."

Point to ponder.
