M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
MAFIA LXX
"The Baskin-Robbins Conspiracy"
----------
On a quiet main street, in a sleepy town in the heartland of America, stood a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop. Not one of these fly-by-night pop-up cookie cutter stores, this location was lovingly corporate crafted from the cannibalized remains of a soda fountain corner store of olde. Paper hats in place, glassware clean and shining, checkered floor and flawless countertop glint as the setting rays shine through a massive curved window wrapping around the prominent corner locale. And, of course, the grand freezer. Every flavor one could dream of, a symphony of glorious tastes, a painter’s desire of color stretched the length of the cold dairy vault. But not all in this frozen treat utopia was sleepy, or quiet. There were flavors foul among the heroes of frozen delicacies. And in the coming days, unbeknownst to employee and customer alike, a war would wage for the future of them all.

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
The morning light broke over the plains, as the quiet midwestern berg slowly came to life. Gus stood, back pressed against the wall, dragging on his cigarette. He glaced over at a young man piling out of a old, beaten-up Chevy pouring smoke before it quickly peeled out.
"For fucks' sake Brad it's 10 AM. Do you have to be stoned at this hour?" Gus groaned out as he stamped out what was left of his vice.
"Bruh all day erry' day!" Brad said through a low monotonus laugh, not unlike the misfiring of the vehicle he had just exited. Gus shook his head and followed Brad inside, moving the brick so the fire door slid back securely into place. Inside another youth sat at the counter, head bobbing to some siren's song echoing through his Beats by Dre as he studied a textbook with a frown.
"Darren, enough study hall, shit." Gus called as he slapped the counter to get the kid's attention.
"Yea yea, alright." Darren said as he complied with disinterest. The three donned aprons and paper hats as Gus unbolted the front door and Darren clicked the light to life in the freezer case. Brad took inventory in the cooler, perhaps paying a little TOO much attention to the cans of whipped cream as he went. Darren slipped in airpods while Gus's back was turned and turned to manage the glassware as Gus slid behind the counter and placed his arms on the counter with a sigh.
"Here's hoping today ain't a total shitshow at least..."
Mafia 70 has begun.

Maybe a D1 no-kill is a good option for the no reveal game. One of the primary reasons argued against a D1 no-kill is the lack of information, but in this case we are not going to know the alignment of the DK. The other reason I think a D1 no-kill may be a good option is that it will make sure our PRs do not have to claim D1 to avoid the DK. However, I would like to know what others think.

Does this mean you are not going to be setting the tone?

The threshold for voting someone off is definitely higher in no-reveal games. It's best not to precommit to no-killing though, because the threat of a kill is what pressures people to act in alignment-indicative ways.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 10:22 pmMaybe a D1 no-kill is a good option for the no reveal game. Wouldn't the logical conclusion of this for town to never make a daykill until they have to?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 10:22 pmMaybe a D1 no-kill is a good option for the no reveal game. Exactly. I don't think no kill can work too well, but maybe for a day or two.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 10:34 pmAnd when it will be? I think a more interesting discussion is about whether the Miller should claim. I think probably so?
