I would prefer if we remain civil please
I mostly reference to Paul Kennedy's The Rise and Fall of the Great Powers.
The Russians did outproduced the Germans only by applying almost everything into miltary production. Again, my point was if the Germans took the Caucasus and the Middle East, how would Russia hope to defeat the German without the proper supply of oil? Germany only started losing at the end because of poor logistics, Barbarossa was a horrible idea. Russia could afford to lose, Germany couldn't. Germany had almost no folllow up after the first strike and were in summer uniforms.
Germany could of easily overran the the middle east with 3 million troops and 3000 tanks in the open desert (assuming that the Germans put a smaller defensive force on the border) Ever read the What if? books? There is a essay in book one about a German Desert Storm, you can find it in a B&Ns
