my anc med game has reached the end of it's time but is not being processed -- it stopped at zero

It will stop at now. I'm wondering if it will stay stuck long enough for all my games to read 'now' at the same time.

I'm in two games, and both just switched to saying "now" when they got to zero, but nothing happened yet. It sucks. :(

same here - maybe the server load is high, because of all the games need processing ... but that's just me guessing there ...

Thanks. I know I ask this almost every time, but I get nervous when I see games count down when they aren't being processed.

one of my games was on a 6 hour phase, and I put in some moves right before I went to sleep. unfortunately, everyone else clicked ready, and the new turn started while i was asleep. When I woke up, i was glad processing stopped. now, I'm just pissed

@Pi3th0n: Thats why in shorter turn games (unless they are live) you save orders and not finalize.

If a moderator is reading this, does anyone have any clue as to when we will start seeing the games be processed again?

The banner also says that the games will be given extra-time... will this happen or only start processing? I ask this because diplomacy is not stopped so extra time is probably not needed.

They are given extra time because sometimes the players couldn't submit orders and may not be on when it finally comes back up. Doesn't seem to eb the case here, but it has happened in the past.

Someone asked if mods know when we'll restart.

This is my only escape from changing diapers and work. Save my sanity, get it going!!

I now have three games on now.Hope they all don't process at the same time worked hard to get them staggered so I could read and send press and have time to figure out what to do in each without getting them confused.

All 5 of my games are on 'now' . . . if they all process at once, things might be interesting.

I don't think the mods can do anything; we need to wait for Kestas. He's probably had a busy day should get to it soon.

So they resumed processing but no time got added? Interesting and annoying...

False...some of my games got up to 10 hours added.

And yet at least one of mine processed and another processes in 20 minutes.

Looks like kestas is still going through all the active games and adding time to them then.

Ah... Should have done that before restarting the game master.

@ava - Come on, you know better than that. He won't change them manually, but instead will run an SQL command to extend them all as appropriate

But why not run said SQL update before restarting the engine?

Hey guys, we had a server move and games weren't processed for a day or so. I added about six hours since there wasn't much downtime and there had already been a lot of time for players to submit moves after the server came back online, so adding more than six hours seemed excessive.

About the notice games won't process while the notice is up, even though the times count down. Also I think that all players finalizing may also result in the game being processed, but I can't remember offhand

And nope it's not done manually, there's a section in the admin control panel which handles that, since there is some extra logic for pausing games where the phase is shorter than the time being added to games
