The basic gameplay so far is spot on with SC. But...you have boards where there is interaction...mission to escort civilian convoys, for example. Plus, after just a couple missions you enter a path where you can select your next mission. You get "research points" towards Zerg or Protoss...not sure what they will be for. You have an armory where you can select what you want your troops to advance in....better defence? better offense? So you will customize your character. So, it looks like an appropriate advancement on the old game system, but has retained all of the flavor of the original. graphics rock, of course.

haven't done multi-player yet....but if there is interest, I'd like to see some WebDip people get together for some Multi-Gaming experiences......

Damn....Blizzard just rocks at everything they do. I even turned my wife into a gamer through WoW! For that alone I owe Blizzard a debt of gratitude! lol (She just smirked at me....)

When I get it I'd definitely be up for a game.

All I can say about these awesome games, is that I need to improve, I've had it sooo long and still be sooo bad XP Ever since I got it back when I was in middle school, I can't seem to be good at melee games :/ I've won one 1v1 today, but it was in the practice league and took me 32 minutes to win playing as Zerg vs Terran :/

Actually, make sure you check out Blizzard specs. I haven't rebuilt a machine in over a year....closer to 2...and am still able to meet specs on the game. I'm not playing at *highest* detail, but if I miss a shadow on a blood splater I think I will live! lol

Well, I've played the campaign (but apparently missed a couple missions), and got my initial ladder rank in 1v1s and 2v2randoms... Platinum and Gold, respectively.

If anybody wants to get crushified, let me know. :P

Blizzard is good about letting you dial down the graphic details so it'll play on a moderately decent 1 or 2 year old Dell laptop.

I don't know a whole lot about the game. All I know is that is (most likely) the longest-awaited sequel in video game history.

I picked up my SC2 pre-order yesterday and since then, I've haven't been doing much else besides playing on Battle.net. My friends got their copies too and we've been fighting each other. I always win :P I'll play any of you; I'm always up for a challenge!

I have StarCraft 2. There are no words to describe how much I love the game. I honestly believe it might get Game of the Year.
