You would say someone who is overly passionate about their beliefs can be tolerant as well? I always thought of it as one or the other. Passionate is a different story, but when you say overly passionate that calls the word fanatic to mind.

This is so not true! In fact, while lenses were the thing a couple of years ago, nowadays design glasses are also hot. With some even wearing them as fashion article, without even having the deficiency. People with glasses are distinguished/witty/creative/smart etc. (which ofcourse are stereotypic too).

Yes, as my wife has relatives that are Evangelical and it carries into most every aspect of their lives. However, they are tolerant of other religious beliefs even though they don't agree w/ them. Surprisingly, they are even capable of dialogue about the topic w/o simply resorting to "you will burn in hell, you rotten infidel".
I don't think they are always mutually exclusive, though in most cases they are.

Depends on their exposure to fighting, and what type of fighting they've been exposed to.

-loves sport (i cant find any interest at all in men running around with a pigskin ball)
-drinks beer like a fish (i prefer sweet girly cocktails and funny drinks, bit lightweight too)
- wears tshirts and shorts (urgh dont like shorts or tshirts , im more of a white tropical cotton shirt man
but i guess i am tactless, crude and a bit blunt at times- that's australian

Well, what I can say about brasilians stereotypes:
- Football, beaches, sunny, samba, jungle, don´t work just parties.
Well, I live far from a beach on a cold and wet town, never seen a jungle on my life, can´t dance, play football as a trully German defender :-) and work a lot.

but at least all the women you know are salsa hot samba dancing booty shaking lusty ladies who like to get their kit off at a drop of a hat and party ..right? oh wait thats another stereotype:(

I am a southerner. Born and bred. I have all of my teeth and never had a cavity. I don't eat straw, don't chew tobacco, don't drive a pickup truck, I hate country music, I have black friends, I like to fish, and I drink lots of beer (but not buttwiper)...

Ok British Stereotypes:

Scottish male - Wears kilts with no underwear, eats a lotta haggis and jumps around tapping a wooden stick across his shins

Wales - sheep shaggers

Londoners - everyone else is invisible, all stuck up and too busy to acknowledge anyone

Chavs (women) - Suck on stupid plastic dummys, cane roll their hair, where too tight tops letting their bellys hang out, Love to wear oodis and joggers with DONNAY on them.

Chavs (men) - wear thier joggers tucked into socks, pants hangin off their arses and often sum kinda gold chain or gold ring

Chavs (general) - Talwk lik dis innit man, you is dissin me, don't go givin me beef bro. Thats MISSSSIIOONNSSS man! He a buff ting!
