Rules on swearing etc

Do not make posts which aim to offend people, or constantly use swear words. All it does is annoy people, and force me to spend my time cleaning the forum.

Please use some common sense, I shouldn't have to enforce the rules when they're just basic courtesy.

Kestas Please Check!

In "bobby wobby" it is Autumn 1901 Unit Placing. Controlling France i have taken Belgium, London, and Spain. When asked to create, the form only gives me two drop downs. Could you take a look at it.

You took Portugal, not Spain, but I wouldn't know. In the same game I have Denmark, yet it isn't colored properly and theres an x on my unit there.

if theres n x it means its a stalemate...Farcus however didnt technically take that stuff.

You see the game kinda died yesterday, some problem with the coding, it's reset most of my entire games by a turn or so, so i had to re do them, one of them was bobby wobby, i had seen farcus had betrayed me and took london, but it had gone back to before he betrayed.

so i changed my turns...as anyone would xD to keep london..but when the new phrase started, london was...technically his - yet i still got a unit out of it.

maybe the site is taking parts of the new round to the old round..so that london isnt technically yours..it just looks...like its yours, i dunno xD

Well that's odd that its allowing only two French builds. But Redarmy, you dont' have control of Denmark, the x indicates a bounce. Presumably England ordered North Sea to Denmark which created a standoff

no..its all legit, except..london still isnt mine..even tho i stale-mated over frances betrayal..

it never shud have become his, but it did because of the phrase we had done before..imagine doing 1 whole year..and then it resets back to the previous year...u know all the moves that are about to happen..so people shud change them, yet when they do..the map diverts back to the game BEFORE the reset..yet the gamemaster and the actual game remains the same.

its..backwards..in a sense xD

no..all 3 of us are talking about the same game..but somehow..twisted behind some false illusion of time and space, the game was WARPED from the present into the past..and from there..was then again WARPED into the present, only..with certain elementary changes xD

Its not really all that complicated..i mean, the server crash or whatever we all experianced a day or so ago had made most people re do a bunch of their turns..1 of them was bobby wobby,,and so having known what happened beforehand..people did changes to their origional moves and its led to the period of time in which we all sit happily HERE FOR ^_^

sounds like an episode of star trek. what you guys need is to check your warp core containment field and hull integrity before analyzing your sensor arrays.

tried that captain..seems everythings in check, so i'm assuming where either

1) wasting time babbling on about a game that was infected by a disease due to some unknown damage to the central control panel
or
2) Some unknown force is purposely corrupting the files and codes in which we play our games from, thus creating a diversion within the warping devices and forcing us to repeat history repeatedly, until either one of us gives up, or we get bored of babbling on and just GET ON WITH IT.

either way, it seems tricky! ^^_^^ xD

Why not allow civil disorder and hold up the game for others if you are not going to take part?

England have done nothing since the first couple of moves, but just hold units and wait until the timer is about to run out and then click back into the game, preventing England going into civil disorder and thus delaying the game significantly.

Can anything be done to deal with this unsportsmanlike conduct?

World war 1- honor! has 2 CD's

Above game has 2 coutries germany and austria in CD.

Unless we find 2 players fast this game becomes useless.
appeal to russia/uk/france/italy to wait till then or call it a draw.

Oh and BTW no marks for guessing who is Turkey.

Any way to see everyone's orders?

I don't see a way in the interface to see what everyone ordered (and how that played out), only the "before and after" of the map. Is there such a thing?

Forum troubles

I'll be brief because I've written this before:
- A user was spamming obscene posts after being warned
- While deleting the second post I accidentally deleted all the replies to existing topics
- Dreamhost's automatic backup system didn't work, so I needed to mail them to ask them to do the backup manually
- Meanwhile I banned the spammer, and his 4 alternate accounts
- When the backup finally appeared the existing forum table was deleted for some unknown reason, and instead of merging the rows which I deleted into the current table I needed to move the old backup table into place.
- What this means is: Some posts and replies have been removed, sorry about that, but one multi-accounter and spammer is out of the way.

Locked Teams Game

I'm thinking of starting an Honor-teams game with different teams than the WWI games.

Say a Napoleonic Wars game - where the teams are France/Austria/Turkey against England/Italy/Russia with Germany as the mercenary power.

Who would be up for it? Are there any ideas as to changes that should be made?

Turkey should have wrapped up the game ages ago, and had the opportunity of taking Napes, Rome, Munich and Berlin for a few rounds already. Instead, it spares Italy and Germany, which seem to also have a pact (since they know each other).

Why would anyone do that?

Napoleonic Honour CD

Kickboxer has just cd'd after being banned for multi-accounting.

As it is, we need someone to take his place as soon as possible. We have hardly started so you just need to get yourself up to speed.
