I have very little interest in the opinion of Little Wayne.

Obviosly the blanket statement "thereis no racism" is stupid. But the OVERWHELMING majority of poeple in this country go through life without being racist. In the same way that "You have cancer" doesn't mean "The entire country is suffering from cancer"....on the contrary, most people do not have cancer....the country is mostly a non-racist country.

The problem is there is MONEY TO BE MADE in the racism INDUSTRY. And the acknowledgement that racism, by and large, is a historical problem, not a present problem, would mean a lot of powerful people in this country lose a huge source of income in promoting the existence of the problem and collecting money for gullible fools to fight the non-problem.

Demon -- if you actually had reading skills, you would see that I didn't say racism doesn't exist. It exists sporadically, like cancer, in a few, but like Lil Wayne I agree that it is not epedemic within the culture.

And there again is brainbomb the racist, insulting Lil Wayne's music becuase - though it has popularity amongst a certain culture, isnt' something he agrees with, and therefore he feels compelled to insult and demean. (A compulsion no doubt driven by his inherent racism, right? Because that's what you would accuse a conservative of if they choose to ignore a topic and insult/attack like brainbomb is...)

Krellin, you do realize that Lil Wayne is from New Orleans, right. The New Orleans police force is heavily integrated and is 51% African American (the overall population being about 60% black, it's a rather diverse city). I'm not surprised that Lil Wayne hasn't had to face a lot of racism compared to say Kendrick Lamar or the NWA as most of the issues of racism stem from a minority being oppressed by a majority.

Lil Wayne suffers from seizures, and nearly died from drugs. He isnt even able to do rap anymore because he has such profound brain damage. Does this sound like someone who understands what is happening in the real world? Of course there is racism, and racists everywhere. I see them all over this town alone, waving Rebel flags, and trust me, its not because they love the Union.
