About math and history majors: You have already noticed that most of the history teachers at your high school are also coaches. That is pretty common across the board, and it creates an impression that "history is for intellectual lightweights who want an easy major so they can coach". Whether or not that is fair is beside the point, it's a stereotype that is out there. I would very definitely encourage you to get certified in teaching math as well so you can dodge that stereoptype.
Also, I have no idea if you're interested in religion/faith/spirituality, but college is an amazing place to find other people who engage their faith at a much more personal, committed, and intellectual level than perhaps you're used to in your home town Sunday School class where many get dragged to church by their parents. Lots of kids go off to college and say "Yeah, I'm free, I can sleep in on Sunday morning!" My suggestion is to say "Yeah, I'm free, I can go to church/mosque/synagogue as an adult!" and get your butt out of bed Sunday morning. The connections I made at church during college have profoundly affected my relationships, career, etc.
