Um, what would I apologize for exactly, Putin? I was asked by a banned friend to post an email to the forum, which to my knowledge is not against the rules. I neither endorsed nor dissented from the content of the email. I think the mods are probably aware that (a) I have some questions about the level of transparency on webdip, but that (b) I also don't swear at them.

Of course, while I didn't endorse the content in posting it, I did later state my concern about how this case was handled. This has been partially but not mostly alleviated. I still have no idea what I'm supposed to apologize for.

Apologize for acting as if the case of this serial cheat/fraudster/liar was worth bringing to the forum in order to try to embarrass the mods for their "secrecy" and insinuate that they somehow overreached after giving this cheat friend of yours multiple chances. It's not surprising that you keep this kind of company.

I actually quite liked SG, but we were charged with the task of upholding the rules by kestas. It wouldn't be right to turn a blind eye because we enjoyed his company.

I agree completely and now that I know the facts as they have been released, the evidence is compelling enough. But I'll still miss the little fucktard. :-)

@abge -- understood. It seems likely you had a prima facie case. I do wish he had been given more of a chance to defend himself (if indeed he was not, as seems likely since he was on vacation), and the lack of that perturbs me. There may in fact have been an alternate explanation, however unlikely, and it should at the least have been heard and considered. Anyway, thanks for addressing it. (Also zultar).
