Nope, apparently not after looking it up. Official party line is constitutional amendment to repeal Roe v Wade, but leave it to the states to decide about any exceptions.

The problem, as always, is religion.

"Christian Democrat" is a fancy term for a conservative who is slightly more liberal than a Tea Party Republican.

The part that seemed worst for me wasn't the abortion comment (bad as that is, you'd expect a stance like that from a Republican trying to appeal to his base) so much as what he said next:

"He then seemed to equate the trauma of a pregnancy brought about by rape with a woman's deciding to have a child outside marriage."

...WOW. Just wow.

At least "Women have super-secret-pregnancy-stopping-powers" was incredibly stupid and horrendously offensive...but you could laugh at it...
