I could be wrong - but based on the posts from DJEcc24 in the general signups coming soon thread it looks like it would only involve 1 game per player at any one time (as a country plays 4 games in each round - 2 normal, 1 public press, 1 gunboat).

sign ups start in january. i'll get the thread up as soon in january as possible. and the tourny hopefully will start february. Napoleon of Oz you said above you may let others play if they step up and are better. if that happens would you be interested in maybe helping me with the tourny emailing out when people need to join games etc?

Any other Australian want to put their names forward? I think what we need to do is assemble an Australian squad and from that reduce the list to the four best candidates, who still want to play once all the details have been finalized by the organizers.

keep in mind if you have enoguh you can put in two teams. you could separate australia to a Sydney team or a northern and southern or however you like.

Well I think (subject to MAI742 confirming that he still wants to play) that we now have enough for 2 teams of 4 - sean, spyman, Bilbo, The Conquerer, Fluorspar, MAI742, doofman, Napoleon of Oz - which is great. Of course if any other Aussies out there want to play then please respond to this thread and if we have more nominations than the tournament organisers will allow us to have teams then I guess we'll sort out who is playing for this great nation in early January.
