Waiting for placement

In two different games I opted to wait to place my unit later in the turn and was not given the option between the spring and fall turns. Do I need to do something actively to get this option?

Problem with my stats

I'm looking at my stats, and it says I'm currently playing a game, but I'm not. I think its counting one of my survives as a game still in progress. Could I get a mod to look at this?

Unpause request.

In this game a player that had already been defeated was banned. The game automatically paused and now one of the players (who was clearly not in a position to win) is refusing to unpause and is requesting a draw.

I took over cd germany in autumn 04

Note that, trapped between Italy and England, with neither willing to discuss alliance, I offered both my willingness to become a puppet. I finally played the public press gambit and made the offer globally ..Italy's entire press consist of a single line: "Hahahaha" .. Austria has issued no press at all.

In desperation, I posted all my moves to italy in advance .. even offering him full control of my moves ...

Now, considering all that, do the moves in this game strike any of you as .. odd?

LOL, he accused me of it too. On the third game I had ever played on this site he wanted me banned for doing something the rules clearly say is not a bannable offense.

He did it and then pointed out the thread to others in the games we were in together so they wouldn't trust me. Neat tactic for the game but sleazy nonetheless.

Then he wanted me banned because I admitted a friend had referred me to the website and suggested I start playing diplomacy online.

Anyway, it explains why Submariner has 0 points. LOLOL

One thread. One thread about one person who certainly asked me to meta-game with him.

I note with sadness that he is still participating in them though, which sends a very tawdry message from the moderators to those who play on this site.

As for the moves... Oh yes, I too wonder why North Sea didn't convoy and Hel didn't supoprt the move to Kiel... Keeping you in the game for one more season adds a certain sense of amusement though Razz. A bit like a cat playing with a mouse before delivering the final blow.

Newb question: end of turn became "Due Now"???

Why do we get a countdown on our clock and then when the minutes are gone, it switches to "Due Now" instead of resolving the turn?
We have one player who is absent (from more than one game)...

anyone interested in an active game? (not a live game)

in an active game, players are actually active. as in people check periodically for updates, rather than logging in twice a week. it's not a live game where everyone is on the same time, but an active, no-one-is-CD-game that moves on quickly because people actually finalizes.
