A week or so ago, there was a mini-rollback. Games got backed up an hour or two and if you updated your orders in that time frame, your update was lost... Not sure how often this is happening, but one guy had similar problems in one of my games recently, so maybe these mini-rollbacks are more frequent lately?

The site crashed on me this morning, maybe that was part of it??

I don't know. I'm seriously thinking that something is up, because I know what my orders are, and they are NOT being carried through with. I wonder... perhaps. That's kinda irritating.

In all seriousness your profile says you're active in 11 games (with one defeated, so we'll call it 10) which is typically too many for people to keep track of an play well in. I can't imagine you're communicating in all of those games to your full potential. It doesn't surprise me that there was a potential error or that "This isn't the first time something like this has happened" given how much you have to keep track of. I think you might have better luck with fewer games in which you can focus on diplomacy instead of just moves.

The rollback wouldn't have affected this, the game has 24 hour turns and this was the most recent turn.

Hmm... you carry a point, but Tibet is basically the game I'm doing best in. I'm being careful with the games I put any value behind, and Tibet is most certainly one of those.

Mreh, perhaps I'll consider it user error, but I'm not convinced. If this happens to anyone else, though, I'd love to hear about it.

This data is saved directly to disk from the moment we receive it, because we get these complaints from time to time and I wanted to see what was causing them, but it hasn't found a bug yet, usually the logs match up

A problem I have sometimes is I use my little rolly scroll wheel on my mouse to scroll up and down the screen. If I'm still "on" one of my orders (the last one I did) then rolling the wheel will scroll down the list of potential orders, potentially creating a misorder. I've been burned hard by my scrolling laziness before.

Hm. Centurian may have the point. I don't know. I'll watch out for it in the future.
