When the Games are turned back on... What then????
Will all of my games be due in the middle of the night or something? Will i go cd if i am not here when it happens? Will there be a (at least) 12 hour lull to give us time to get our orders in?
As for the latter, it'll happen when it happens. Kestas is a one man operation, and he has a job and (presumably) a life outside this board.
It takes as long as it takes.
For the former, presumably once the games currently on hold process the next phase begins. Looking at your profile they're all 24 hour phases, so you'll have a full day to enter your orders, whether the adjudicator kicks in five minutes from now or at 3 AM. It shouldn't be a huge hardship to check the site once a day....
Ok. Thank u for filling me in. Just a little worried. Spent alot of time and didn't want it to go to waste. Has anyone heard from Kestas on the progress?
Turiel, just be patient. One-man programming is sheer hell, especially with a project of this scope. Even diagnosing the problem is a bitch and a half in most cases.
And this is from the point of view of someone whose most advanced project was a C script that did matrix operations.
whats with people getting butt hurt because of other people asking about the when the games will come back on, and whats going to happen?. Its a common concern no need to get all defensive. simple question give a simple answer.
Nerds don't have lifes, If they are cocky all they do is play games or surf the web and if they aren't cocky then they study a little. My roommate just stay up all night playing wow.
I too have concerns on when this site will start working, I have few slow pace games and a great amount of fast pace ( I hate waiting when it comes to games) SO if it did come on right after I got off and i go to sleep or have classes the chances of me getting to my 12 hour pace game in time is really slim. I have been checking every chance I get but unlike nerds I have a life for I am not nerd. So I can devote all my time to checking when the site gets back on.
what do I do that makes you feel that way. Full time college student, Ex NROTC personel and Soon to be Correction Office at a County jail. I pretty sure I contribute
Im working on this now, please have your orders ready so that when I reenable processing all the games can be processed. Hopefully noone still has moves to enter after 2 days without processing
The games that don't have pieces and their previous moves were wiped might not have orders in. I know I don't. What will be done with those handful of games?
gameID=7871 is still missing the first Spring moves, but still shows us in Autumn. Game is still paused by the players, but we just wanted to know whether we should play on or whether the game will be either set back to Spring or our moves will be carried out from Spring.

For the last month or so I’ve watched with amazement as this forum has been hijacked by Diplomat1824. Somehow this immature brat has managed to incense otherwise reasonable users of this site and his mind-numbingly obnoxious posts continue to draw the attention of a surprisingly large number of intelligent people who - no offense - really should know better.
i got into the website before a few hours and saw that half of my games are ending "dew now". Now i got into the website again and it still says that they are ending "dew now". is that my problem or the website's problem?
I havent been on the site in a while and I dont remember a whole lot, is there anyway to PM someone through the site? or do you have to publicly or in a game ask for an email?
Can moderators unpause this game or get rid of where is chick?

that requested for GameMaster to be banned. I think he pissed him off! I can't find the thread anymore (wonder why ... GameMaster ...?) but I'm pretty sure it was one of the usual troublemakers - Dingle, figgle, alamothe, aoe3, friendly, someone like that. Perhaps you should ban them all and maybe GameMaster will come back to play ...
The New Years' Ghost-rating list is ready. The PPSC formula has been changed, to make it much more accurate. In particular the fallacy of expected result>18/34 has been resolved. And..... We now have a new number 1!
