I read books regularly, when was the last time you read a book outside of what your 3rd grade class made you read?

I suspect Iceray, like many of us here, is quite well read. Spartans, a little reading might improve your writing. you don't know when or where to use commas and just throw them in randomly. You are obstinate and don't see that this is a game of communication,s o improving your communication skills instead of being an ass will get you much farther and will improve you lot in life in the future.

Wow! 5th grade. No wonder he thinks he knows everything and doesn't get that communication is key and he is failing miserably. Of course, considering our education system today compared to 35 years ago, when I was in 5th grade, it's no wonder.

Spartans, even if you don't really care about it, you will find that it will serve you well to punctuate properly and communicate intelligently. People will take you more seriously, you will be far more respected, and when you do need to do so, when writing for class, applications to colleges, etc., you will be more practiced in sounding intelligent.

The bottom line is that if you want the world to respect you, you have to play by their rules, however arbitrary they may be.

@Ice ray - I assume you graduated early? You are clearly one of the exceptions that proves the rule.

And yeah, the Uglies is part of a pretty hefty series. But saying a book is X number of pages doesn't mean much if it is all tripe. However, that series has a better rep than, say, the Twilight saga. Talk about tripe.

Spartans, I will cut you some slack. But seriously work on your grammar if just here to get your point across in game. And I can recommend (as can others) some books a 10 or 11 year old will be challenged by but will still enjoy, especially if he likes science fiction or fantasy. But only if you're interested.

No, I dropped out. I'm exceptionally lazy and I failed some classes, I made them up in credit recovery but they never got submitted and the school never gave me the credits for it. I wasn't going to spend a fifth year in high school because they fucked up. It's ok though, I have a plan! Since I have to pay for my college anyways, I'm going to get my GED and go to community college since it's cheaper, from there i'll apply to USF as a transfer student and get my PHD in Biomedical Engineering.
