I'd say the idea is it can only be something that could be sent via postal mail. That said, a DVD could be sent postal mail with a recorded video message, but I think that is against the spirit of the game.

I think typed on letterhead is well within the spirit of the game, krellin. So have at it.

And for those who didn't notice, it can be done on a phone browser too. I kept it very plain and very small visually until I can expand it and make a mobile verskion independent of the traditional browser version.

For everyone else. If you want to run a greypress game, this system can do it with attachments (as we are) text typed on the form, or both. I set it up to be configurable in the Games table by game. I can run up to 14 of these games (total of 98 redirected email addresses) at a time. Of course, I could run more Ancient Meds or fewwer World, but I can run them as well. That limitation is just because I only have 100 redirects on my mail server right now. To get more means I have to buy them.

I am the only one with access to set this up right now, but I hope over the next few months, if people want to do grey press, to add in the ability to let other's setup everything except the redirect addresses.

Also, if you want to run a fully anonymous grey press, Iit can be done assuming I'm not in it. I will always have to know the real email address for each country, but no one else need know.

And finally, do *not* reply to a message from gamemaster *especially* if it was sent to others as well. I don't control your mail server or client so the reply *will* have your real email address in it. Use the web page to force the reply to email address to be [email protected].

Can I ask, who sends bitmaps?? Can we use jpegs or other conveniently small image formats? Some of us have (believe it or not) wireless dial-up.

Those huge ones are actually jpegs, although not compressed at all. I compress mine to pngs, they look like shit anyway, I recommend that others do too.

And oh, png or jpeg doesn't matter, the keyword there was "compress".

If you don't know any image editing software, I recommend http://www.irfanview.com/ if you're on Windows, it's free and easy to use.

Go to the webpage and select the button to pick the media from your phone. I don't have an iPhone so I couldn't test that, but it works on my Samsung Droid Charge nicely.
