No, it's fine. I completely admit to choosing that example in an effort to see if you'd cave. =P It's not a terrible thing to say -- in my shoes I'm condemning people to die of gun misuse. Your point is well-made, and the whole issue is certainly debatable -- if it were clear-cut, we wouldn't be arguing.
