Nascar is different, my family dislikes Jeff Gordon, but the first race I saw he won, so he became my favorite.

Seattle Seahawks because one day I decided I needed a favorite football team, (long time ago) so I went on Madden NFL for the N64 and randomized the team pick.

Came up Seattle Seahawks. I was ecstatic to learn that had Alexander the Great haha.

And I was pumped when they made it to the superbowl, which they will do again.

Second favorite is the underdog Houston Texans, since I'm from Houston.

Least favorite is the Tennessee Titans because they took our original team, the Houston Oilers. If anyone doesn't know that story, you should look it up.

So I love to see the Texans beat the Titans. The bastards.

I also dislike the Rams and the Steelers because they have too many fans and aren't underdogs. Also they beat my picks in their respective superbowls.

Bengals cause I grew up and still live in the greater Cincinnati area. And now that we have TO look out!

Colts because we stole them from Baltimore. Baseball is my preferred sport with the Cincinnati Reds being my favorite. I saw my first pro game at Crosley Field the year after moving to Cincy.

College football: Oregon State because I was born and raised in Corvallis and went to OSU and still live here.

NFL? Any team with a former Oregon State player. I don't particular care about the NFL beyond that. College ball >>>> NFL

I'm originally from Pittsburgh, and a die hard Steelers fan.
I now live in Cincinnati, so I get reamed about it routinely (especially when the Bengals have a good year once a decade or two). Even had my car keyed because I have Steelers stickers on them. Had my food spit in when I'm wearing Steelers gear. So, yeah, you can say I'm hardcore cause I still wear the shirts and still have the stickers on my car :D

As far as college, I'm a Cincinnati fan (alma mater), but also have been known to root for Penn State and Notre Dame.

As far as College > NFL goes, I used to hate NCAA (even though I officiate for NCAA ball). The reason is there are so many systems that really give offense the power in the game. Spread offenses make for exciting ball, unless you are a fan of defense like I am. It's all about using higher quality players and mismatching them against poor players on the other defense. In the NFL, there is enough parity that you really don't see that kinda stuff...

Go Beavs! But for NFL I am a Chargers fan.

I am part owner of the Green Bay Packers. But college football is a much more interesting game than the battle of field goals known as the NFL.

Spread offense is cycling downward, though. Turns out, if you have fast, smart outside linebackers, you can fuck up a spread pretty much six ways from Sunday any time someone tries to bring that weak shit to your field.

I am a proud Wisconsinite, so the Green Bay Packers are better than your team.

Oh, and the Brewers too. Although I went to UW-Milwaukee for grad school, so I never got into the Badgers.

@redekker, just got back from UW Madison in June. Nephew and his new bride graduated from there and wne tback there (they live in Corvallis!) to get married. Both are hude UW Badger fans, so much so the I have two UW Badger tees and a UW ball cap they have gavin as Christmas presents over the years (8 years of UW each as they did undergrad and grad studies in engineering there).

And if you can't tell, I can't type worth shit once again today.
