No, non-anon. The only thing anon is your email address (for your personal privacy) and who the message came from (aka grey press).

No. I am setting it up as what is called grey press. Trust me krellin. I do this for a living. I know what I'm doing.

For more clarification, you'll submit your messages using a webpage. The reply to address on the email you receive will be "[email protected]" and will be lost in neverneverland never to be seen by any human (well, it will actually sit until I dump the queue) so don't bother hitting reply. You have to handwrite your messages anyhow, so if you wish to respond to one, handwrite it, scan it, and submit it via the webpage. But remember, it may not be who you thought it was from after all and you could be sending a response to your enemy who was trying to trick you ibnto thinking (s)he was someone else.

Oh, and the out going message don't hit any queue. I'm using a forwarding relay which doesn't hold the message on the server.

Oh....OK...so game in Non-anon, messaging is anon. This I *completely* like. After all, everyone knew who the Kaiser was...they just didn't know if the message they intercepted was from him or a fake...I like, I like...

I just havn't been 100% reading the thread. I think it should be quite amusing, particularly depending on the creativity of the participants...

I'm in the middle of designing the web app as we speak. I'm doing it configurable so other grey press games can be done with it as well. Initially, though, I'll just have our game info loaded in the DB. any other games that want to use grey press will have to ask me to set them up in the DB until I get time to add a "Add/Update game" form to it.

So, the code just needs some testing but I think it is done. I have GoDaddy converting my account to IIS 7 so I can push this up, but they say it takes 24 hours. I started the process this morning so 18 hours or so left till I can push it up. Once I get it on the server and send you all the link to the page, I can sign in and, when we get the assignments, set the cpountry email address to forward to the owner's email address.

Anybody in the game who hasn't PM'd me their email address, please do so so I can get us up and running quickly once the game starts.

Let me know if you need a guinea pig to test. Oink oink...

Well, I'm having to wait on GoDaddy to delete my old free account so I can point my paid account to the domain. Damn system is taking *w-a-y* too long.
