@Vaft -- I admitted it was a cop-out, but such is the nature of our finite minds trying to comprehend that infinite attributes of an all-powerful God. Can't be done, even if you think it can.

Can man live a life without sin? No. Period.

Oh look, krellin has joined the fun.
But I forgot that this thread had a purpose...
What was it again?
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
Oh I never said you hole life but it is possible to live without sin if you are locked in a room and taught nothing because you know nothing. but I only stated that for a time it is possible. Its not malice in the heart the way I said it because it wasn't in the place of a swear word just throwing it out there.

The purpose is to recruit but they dragged the argument across a few threads.

I thought "I want to hang out" means "let smoke pot". Huh...

sex joke/claims he's a christian -- Your pal, the Uber-Hypocrite King Atom

As for judging...who's judging? That word is *so* misused and misunderstoof.

Hebrews 3:13 Encourage one another dialy...so they don't sin (my paraphrase)...i.e. if you see a fellow christian struggling with sin (i.e. you must *judge this to be the case) you encourage them so they do not.

Timothy - quoted before - Scripture is used to chastice and rebuke...you don't rebuke unless you have first judged something to be wrong.

Get over the "judge not" crap and learn your Bible.
Actually, "hanging out" used to be socializing at the scene of public hangings in colonial times.

@krellin - Neither of those is in opposition to "judge not lest ye be judged" because that stabndard by which you are judged is held back to you. As long as you are pure in that which you judge, your judgement (when given as encouragment and not with mailce or dismissal - it's all in the intent) is perfectly acceptable. The problem is when the judging does nothign to encourage or attempt to change the person within, but merely dismisses them as not worhty of understanding and compassion. Do you not agree?
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
"you judge by human standards; i pass no judgment on no one. But if I do judge, my judgment would be correct.." john 8:15-16. he doesn't judge and we are called to be like him. We are not right because we are not with God like him. Scripture right there and my argument is supported
krellin (80 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
fuzzy -- look up speech in the Bible -- if you are "throwing a word out there"...what was it's purpose? YOU said it was a replacement word. It was an emotional exclamation of negative connotation. It aint' what Jesus would say...therefore...

better to HOLD your tongue then "throw something out there"

As for sin, it is *impossible*, whether you are an adult or a child, to live without sin. The *only* scriptural way to be sinless is to be totally, 100% subjugated to the Holy Spirit *every* second of your life. The moment you are not 100% sacrificed to Christ, you are sinning. That is scriptural. i.e you spend the **majority** of your day sinning.

@fuzzy there is a difference between "judging someone" and judging their action. Learn to distinguish between the two.

I don't condemn King Atom personally - I can't. But I do judge his blatant hypocrisy in proclaiming Christ and then starting vulgar threads.

Learn the difference.

dude look up the verses. Jesus said this and what i paraphrased is what he says in the rest of the verse and the next. you just got caught in a lie. bud.
krellin (80 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
@Draug -- I would also say that it doesn't say to not judge --- it just says don't do it unless you want to live by the same standard. There is also a difference between judging a man, and judging specific actions. YOU, Draug, have *rightly* judged my actions and have personally called me out on them -- which was proper and correct (and you will note I willingly accepted your rebuke, as I should...) But you did not judge me as a whole - you judged my actions, which *is* Biblical.
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
You are not perfect and it is not our place to judge because we are not 1 with God as jesus was. Sorry about the last post it was for a PM to someone but I paraphrased the rest of the verse. we were talking about the same topic
krellin (80 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
What lie -- copy and past the scripture in context, not paraphrased.

^that's the meaning of my scripture but to not judge by Human standards but biblical standards^

no the "" is word for word the rest was irrelevant. plus im typing it from my bible not copy and pasting.

you didnt lie it was ment for a PM as i have said.
krellin (80 DX)

Please read ALL of Chapter 8. Jesus is **specifically** speaking to the Pharisees. It is a targeted conversation. You are taking those verses *completely* out of context and thus misusing them.

Again...study your Bible, son.
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
ok i'm going to leave now. those verses are a good thing to live by. I also am aware that they are targeted but everything Jesus says are targeted to certain people. with exception of parables. But i'm not going to get mad. ill leave it to you to decide if you are holy enough to tell Jesus what he was saying by those verses
krellin (80 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
I can make scripture say all sorts of *wrong* things if I take it out of context. Jesus never said to use scripture out of context. Proverbs says to study the WHOLE word, not bits and pieces.

But Preacher can't preach all of Chapter 8...so he picks out the juicy bits for his sermon, right?

Study the WHOLE word, Fuzzy, and stop misusing scripture.
krellin (80 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
I odn't need to tell Jesus what he said. He said more than two sentences. YOU are trying to change his words, Fuzzy, not me.
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
I have to go to do things. I DIDN'T GET THAT FROM PREACHER'S. I found that on my own. You are assuming that i get everything from preacher's. You are assuming you know my entire life.
Draugnar (0 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
And here we are back to fuzzy regurgitating what his preacher, who took two verses out of context, says Jesus meant. Tsk, tsk, tsk...
krellin (80 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
Because you pull out the popular verse, out of context, JUST LIKE A PREACHER
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
and actually I didn't change them. they have many meanings and every tthing you are saying to me think about it like this. You as the pharaises (no auto-correct for it) and Jesus is talking to you. I have to go so send it as private message.
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
Read my words. I DID NOT GET IT FROM A PREACHER. underline now take that and re-read it unless you take that out of context. bye
krellin (80 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
"they have many meanings" So...there is no truth in the Bible? Everythign has mixed meaning??? That doesn't make sense.

Keep your verses in context and the meaning CLARIFIES, fuzzy. When you pull stuff OUT of context, then you make it say what your heart's desire is.

I'm trying to teach you....listen, or don't...
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
NVM i thought I had to go. i'm not pulling them out of context. I'm taking what he meant for the pharaseis and applying it to me. When i judge people on their action's. I think if i'm a hypocrite or do i have a Biblical justification or is it just because I don't like that person. it is not taking it out of context. I am applying the whole chapter 8 to what I do. The pharaseis like titles and to think they are better so I look at it if I am making myself better than that person which i'm not and shouldn't. So those verses mean a lot to me. well those verses specifically. also the verses you pulled were directed in a letter to a specific group of people so I can say that you are doing the same thing about you.
Draugnar (0 DX)
17 Apr 12 UTC
@fuzzy - If you wish to apply that standard to yourself, that is acceptable. But you have no right to apply it to other's when Christ never intended it to apply to anyone save the Pharisees.
fuzzyhartle1 (100 D)
17 Apr 12 UTC
I'm not applying it to anyone i'm trying to get you guys to imagine the same thing. I'm glad you get what i'm saying in the last reply. :)

Why does Germany go to Sweden in Fall '01 so often?
I can understand moving to Denmark in spring to keep the threat alive as diplomatic leverage, but by moving to Sweden right away, Germany angers Russia. Germany's usually going to be able to take Sweden away when he chooses anyway if Russia doesn't open strong to Scandinavia, so why are people so eager to make an enemy right off the bat?
