@dubm - Just because one visits the site, it doesn't mean they visited the forum.

He's been logging on for his games. He hasn't made a post (that I'm aware of) since (before?) election night. Seems strange. He wouldn't stay away from heckling and trolling and yelling the n-word (probably while calmly chuckling and petting a kitten). Now he won't show up and speak for himself. I watched this troll join the community four years ago. I will be damned if I miss his departure. (Not that I want him gone, but if this is how his exit will be, I want to see it. And the distinction is important to make.)

Or maybe he is busy and barely has time for games. He is begging us to draw in the world game of which he will be part because he wants to just wrap up all his games and.leave for a while or longer I think.

You reap what you sow, Draug. You of all people should know that. It's odd to insinuate that I ought to change my attitude toward him here on the off chance he's turning over a new leaf. The behaviors with which we treat others are learned through our interactions with them.

I try not to spout off ignorance and present ideology as fact about conservative fiscal policies with you, because I know you will call me on it, and it sucks to have to say, "Oh, I guess I don't know SHIT about that."

I don't tell obiwan Shakespeare is a myth and then dismiss his laboriously thought out 5 page reply on the ground that it was obviously learned in a "big government university," and therefore not to be trusted.

I don't even ENGAGE with Putin on a serious level unless I'm willing to deconstruct every argument he makes, AND check his facts, AND do research on my own, because otherwise he'll wear me down through subtle use of logical fallacy and sheer volume of facts.


Krellin has two major flaws here as far as I'm concerned.

1) A complete inability to consider he may be less than 100% informed and correct in every thought he has

2) Even people who fail at (1) usually at least shut up, go away, or change the subject when you trap them well enough. Not old Krellin, he'll keep on charging. THIS is the point at which hilarity may ensue.

I match these traits with the contempt they deserve. I try to take this blight on my enjoyment of this community (racist, tiresome, ignorant, anti-intellectual) and turn it into a court jester, something to laugh at, something to mock, something that nobody could ever take seriously. If he desires a different treatment from me that what he's earned over the last few years, then its on him to establish he's no longer deserving.

Those are similar to my thoughts. Krellin has insulted me without cause so many times, and has done so for countless others as well, that until he apologizes, I see no reason to treat him with anything resembling respect.

If Krellin actually came on, put his purse away, and said "Yeah, I said some stupid shit. Sorry guys." I'd say we've accomplished everything reasonable.

But I know he won't. I've seen him get cornered many times, once or twice by myself. Weirdly enough, he always gets "really busy" right after somebody has handed him his ass.

I can't think of any positive qualities that he has. There are more than a few people that I might dislike around here, but I can at least say something nice about them.

He's a drunk, he's ignorant as sin, he's proud of his ignorance, he's rude, ill-tempered, and generally a pain in the ass.

Not to mention about a year or so ago, he went through a whole "woe is me, I feel so bad, I'm going to change. He didn't. He hasn't. So yeah. Social pressures are a motherfucker. He's got his chickens coming home to roost now, and we should enjoy every uncomfortable minute before he comes crawling back pretending nothing happened.

My father used to tell me (and I never really understood his saying until now), "Everyone should just be themselves... except krellin, he should be somebody else."

Krellin doesn't have time for the forums because Obama was re-elected. As a result, the USA is destined to collapse into anarchy within a few months. Krellin is therefore, very sensibly, spending most of his time building his survival retreat and stockpiling essential supplies such as canned food, bottled water, ammunition, and the complete works of Ayn Rand.

It's been almost a week since K-not (pun intended).

Does anyone want to take a bet as to when Krellin will show up again? And what will his story be this time?

My guess is that he'll show up once Obama finishes debating the fiscal cliff, of which he'll inevitably, even if he majorly compromises with the GOP, think is complete "liberal bullshit."

My hope is that he'll show up saying that he recently went on a long getaway with his family and realized that being socially liberal is the only thing that can save the planet from the undeniable destruction that is called assholishness.
