Back to original topic, I've never had problems with communicating in 5 minute press games.

Actually, I think that sometimes I communicate more in them than in day long turn games.

i doent know i just think 5 minute phases are the best ( thats my opinion)

I know you may find them boring, but I'd suggest trying a 24 hour game. That will give you time to think about your moves and work on your diplomacy, allowing you to improve your level of play.

They can actually go far shorter than day phases if everyone clicks ready.

They can indeed. Some people don't check it too often so communication is still more limited than you might imagine.

i personally believe that 5minute phases are way to fast for making moves and communicating, almost all live games i join or create are 10minutes at least.

Vengence! i finally got to play a game with peyton1 (the person who caused me to get a resign) and killed him and it felt wonderful....kind of....he created a new profile because i gave his old one a bad name when i started this thread but it seems like he still is sticking to his cowardice ways even on his new profile. once he saw that i was going to kill him he left the game so the joy of killing him was shortlived.

And what the hell, if he can multiaccount and get away with it even though the rules explicitly state otherwise, why can't I? Sure would be fun...

nope, this is actually what ended up happening. (1 sec while i get the game id so i can post it here)

He didn't multiaccount and get away with it...he got an account banned and got points docked.

The rules don't specify a punishment, its up to the mods' discretion.

Then you didn't read the webDiplomacy Rulebook (http://webdiplomacy.net/rules.php) because it clearly spells out that mutiaccounting is a bannable offense. I don't play with people who don't even try to properly spell or capitalize/punctuate their writings in a forum, but this would be a reason for me to never play with you even if you were the most eloquent speaker on the site.

also, just because multiaccounting is sufficient cause to be banned doesn't mean that it is ever necessary to ban a multiaccounter.

Oh, and some *periods* to mark your *sentences* would be nice. Like after "leave me alone", "im not" (ignoring lack of apostrophe) and "it was a mistake". Please go back to 4th grade and learn basic punctuation and contractions.

@Frank - I didn't say it was. I said if he became a repeat offender it would be. But I am under no obligation to play with a cheat just because the mods chose *not* to ban him. I will still ostracize him as a cheat and keep outing him everywhere I see him. He's a cheat and he used a lame excuse to keep one account.
