Just work on the 80/20 rule with the Mods, if they get it right 20% of the time then it's all good.
They re allowed to make mistakes also but the OP has made up his mind, he wants out. The fact that he told us his decision is pleasant but it's not life-changing.

Firstly my comments were never intended to be insulting to a new member. I pointed out, respectfully, that the link was to a 17 player game that was not private. I also pointed out that the mods are reasonable people and occasionally make mistakes, but are approachable.

My three responses came before the mod's apology and were only ever intended to be helpful.

Stridernight was incorrect to say 'that game is a private locked game'. It clearly wasn't. You are incorrect in suggesting Stridernight said it was the wrong link.

Also, I'm not an American or a student.

I went to college and learned Philosophy 101, basic logic and argument. What you are doing is the form of "Ad Hominem". Note: I am not Chinese, not Indian. In the next 20 years, the entire American Middle-class will be mostly Chinese or Indians with the current rate. I coached students around my area, 29 out of 30 valedictorian were Asians. What has colour got to do with intelligence, if you are born in a country you are a native of that country, regardless of your parents country of origin.

I think you should follow your own advice and re-read posts 1-6 slowly.

In summary. Strideknight posts the mods email which contained an error. At this point nobody knew there was an error. Strideknight says that "THAT game is a private locked game that is full of our friends." He then suggests eight people in the game are his family/friends (nine including himself).

My response was "THE game link is for a world game that needs 17 players. I don't know if you have 16 others who all know one another, if so I (and I'm guessing others) don't have a problem with that."

And

"Also the game you link to is not a private game."

My responses were both factually correct and offered in the spirit of highlighting potential misunderstandings. I never blamed Strideknight or Mods.

Strideknight responds to say his wife wasn't even in that game and it was a gunboat he joined randomly.

I respond with.."I'd speak to the mods/admin they generally are reasonable people, but occassionally make mistakes."

I didn't make another comment until you directed a remark at me [miniac actually, but I assumed you meant me]. The mod did not point out and apologise for his mistake until after my initial remarks.

Now lets look at your take on events. You say...
@Miniac, the link in the first reply was posted by the admin. The admin made a mistake. Stridernight re-posted to show the admin's mistake. Stridernight was not in the 17-playe game. He said he was in a small game with a private-lock password.

I don't think Strideknight knew the game link was wrong. Stridknight WAS in the 17 player game. He says himself "That was a gunboat I randomly joined yesterday" Strideknight never said he was in a SMALL game, he said he and his 8 other family and friends were in a game.

In conclusion, if you are going to attack people for not understanding the written word, you need to make sure your fully understand things yourself.

I am not Chinese, not Indian. Where I came from, if you are not smart or strong, you won't survive. I rarely got sick. Most nasty flu would floor my friends for weeks, I would only got sick for several hours then I got over immediately.

Have you ever wondered why the American companies prefer to hire the foreigners, especially the Chinese, the Indians. Because those folks can read hundred and hundred of pages in technical documents and always get every details right. I am talking about difficult technical documents.

I fail to see how arguing about Chinese and Indians taking over the American Economy is relevant to the OP or even how that argument is contributing to the issue at hand (either for discussion or just entertainment).

The naturaland ordinary meaning of the word 'that' in the sentence "THAT game is a private locked game." could only refer to the game linked above. But somehow you have interpreted the 'that' to relate to a classic game of seven players even though Strideknight says his game contained himself, his wife, another couple, his best friend, his best friend's girlfriend and three other people they have known for eight years.

You still haven't explained why you thought Strideknight was not in the game the mod linked to even though Strideknight says he was in it.

Logically Striderknight said he and his small group of friends ALL knew each other. So when I see a link originated by the Mod showing UNLOCKED 17 countries, I automatically deduced the Mod was wrong. Further more the Mod never challenged Stridernight's statement and apologized (and that's cool).

Now that I looked at Striderknight's profile, indeed I saw he was in a LOCK game with 6 other people. That's the correct game Striderknight was referring too.

The reason the American companies prefer to hired sharp and hardworking Chinese and Indian engineers because many of them have the ability to read the specification with wrong data, and can also correct the wrong data, correct the document.

When you see something nonsense, your common sense must kick in. Or else you are a bunch of airheads. That's why most of the good high-tech jobs are now sent to China and India. And they have a lot of those too. Soon, the middle-class American will be destroyed.
