if you run a campaign like a police state then people don't like you. and your 'opponent' (if there even is one and it is not really other members of your 'side' making it up) gets support so in order to really win you claim to be the side with 'principles' and claim to follow them. you claim authority through that. but really you have none, and try to get people working for you that have none. you do everything to get things to happen that violate every possible rule of decency. but you claim to have principles and you claim to follow those principles and any time they aren't followed is a problem that you will deal with. like the old school british and piracy.

and you hope this can allow people in your group to stay in the group and really trust it due to thinking that maybe the group is principled in some way, and hopefully has some influence on outsiders, but probably that is less important.

The thing that saddens me most about conspiracy theorists (true or (false) is that they choose to use whatever freedom they *do* have worrying all the time about conspiracy theories and their freedoms being fake or taken away. There is so much you can do with life other than worry when you're free at all.

That actually goes for intense politics addicts too, not just conspiracy theorists.

I think the blank rule is a very good one. You should not be allowed to post anything on the forum, ever. Every time you post a new thread, civilisation takes a small step backwards. Every time you post a comment on an existing thread, a kitten dies somewhere in the world. Your rambling, incoherent, often nonsensical frothing about non-existent conspiracies do nothing but clutter up forum space that could be used for more constructive purposes, such as people yelling "MAN UP" at each other.

we have few freedoms. just because the people at the top were able to crush any other countries where people were starting to get freedoms - resulting in us having a little more than some other places does not mean we have much. but since bush and particularly obama, what little there was is now really not there. we have probably the minimum amount of freedom possible without the country being completely unstable. so there is not much to celebrate.

but it will probably get worse. so in that sense it isnt the worst possible. i think they have the means to just not even worry about innovation anymore and just transition to a completely centrally run economy. through powers granted to them from bush and obama. so while you conspiracy deniers / corporate media faithers are being distracted by this or that bs, they are moving the system in place.

i didnt think who arpaio is matters too much. but if i were to speculate, it looks like the anthrax attacks. they sent fake anthrax to people who were supposedly for the patriot act or pro-war. but then there was real anthrax sent to the real critics of the administration. so i guess maybe it is similar. everyone knows even if those obama and wicker letters contained ricin that the two would not receive the letters personally, but it looks like the arpaio one was actually dangerous.

could be a repeat - the real threat sent to the people they really dont like, the fake threat sent to the people they like but want to convince are the enemies of the terrorists...

arpaio was supposedly anti-immigration. i dont even really know it completely but if they are against him it is for being against centralized control by the government, or trying to take back power to the state or municipality or people rather than have it centrally run like the ussr or something. so it is not about imigration, but about philosophy - about who has power.

but that is all speculation, my main point is to show that something organized is happening here, just like what happened on 9/11.

I have seen threads devoted to proving me a terrible person and a terrible moderator. I have no problem with anything except spam.

Spamming is pretty difficult to achieve here. Spamming requires someone to either post threads in an effort to knock other threads off the top page or to post repeated topics with no purpose or a repeated purpose. You have a purpose, all your threads are devoted to proving to everyone else on the site that the media and governments are lying to us. I have no problem with this. The problem is that you take this purpose into every thread you make and every comment you post.

But I am telling you that if you keep making new threads with the sole purpose of "educating" the community on your beliefs you will be silenced, for a month the next time should you continue to show a blatant disregard for this sites rules and moderator decisions.

@jamie: no he's not Joe the plummer, he's a local sheriff in Arizona. He's the sheriff of Maricopa county, which is the county that the Phoenix metro are is in. He mad a name for himself by removing tvs from the jails, issuing pink underwear, not letting inmates smoke, building a "tent city" to house the inmates in the nice Arizona sun, instituted chain gangs where inmates chained together clean up the highways. And made every meal bologna sandwiches. He also has illegal alien roundups.

He's been called the toughest sheriff in America, but I would be surprised to hear that he's known on a national level, much less international. So thanks for confirming.
