You refer to me, as though, I have no bible knowledge. But in truth I do have a lot of knowledge of the Bible. Just none of it was reluctant to the situation. @fuzzy - Just to help, the word you were looking for when you said reluctant is actually relevant. Reluctant means to be hesitant or nervous, not readily willing to try or do something. For example, I was reluctant to post this for fear you might take it in a different spirit than intended.

I don't argue the words of Christ are wrong in Matthew 19:24. I simply state that they don't really align with modern conservativism very well. And, in a thread about conservativism and Christianity, it's kind of counterfactual to argue that politics hasn't entered into the discussion.
