Hey Party. I didn't NMR until AFTER you refused to even put your draw vote up. I went out to lunch, was playing on my phone, and just played enough to not get a resign. My sheer incompetence? You can go fuck yourself too. Austria played like a buttfucker...and pinned us both in then quit.

Party is usually pretty cool...at least from what I remember. I was really surprised to see him being the Turk. I thought it was going to be Split, he's the worst at not voting to draw.

Since this was, seemingly, about CDs, I went to MMs page and saw that he has resigned 88 times. 88! Holy crap. And I don't care if it is out of 1100 games. That is a crap load of resigns. If I had resigned that many times I sure as hell wouldn't bitch about anyone resigning. Ever.

Jimgov, you don't know the circumstances, so you should just run along and play. I have explained why, and if you were able to see, you'd know that was at a time when there were a great deal of CD's and cheats, and I wasn't going to play out games with cheats and CD's. I don't think I'd had a resign in a very long time.

So well done for not resigning this time MM, at least you brought some integrity to the game by sticking with it, I was desperate to resign but didn't.
I make this promise from now on though, if two people CD in this manner in the future I will always offer the CANCEL and/or the DRAW otherwise we lose the integrity of the gunboat.

Draug, I am not a sore loser. I really don't give a fuck. I care that the people that play in here always try to rationalize their playing through CD's, and I think it's crap. But, when in Rome...

@MM - I have never heard, from any player that they skipped a build because it was a "discretionary" move. I know that you have played a ton more games than I have, but could you explain to me why anyone would chose not to build in a live game? I know you missed it because you went out to eat during a live game, but to not build any other time? I am just curious.

I've chosen not to build before. Particularly as Turkey in a Juggernaut. If I have two builds and a unit in Constantinople, I don't want to put the Russian on guard by building a navy in Ankara, so I'll build N Smyrna and defer the second build.

I have postponed builds before. For example when you play Austria in the endgame and need to build more fleets.

That, as Hecks said, and other times when you wouldn't be able to move the new build out right away, or doing so would block another unit's only retreat path. It's not common, but it is necessary at time...at least for good players :)
