To Americans
Learn from this mistake. When given a chance to elect someone like Bernie again, do it. Don't go for the person that's a part of the establishment. It could've been Bernie getting ready for his victory speech now. You threw that chance away when you LET the establishment decide Bernie wouldn't win. Learn from this mistake so that you don't make it again. Better luck next time.

Mike Pence and Hillary have similar policies on Assad and Syria that hes a war criminal. John McMain has similar policy to Syria with Hillary also.
brainbomb (290 D)

Regime change in Syria has always been a policy both parties see eye to eye on. Trump for whatever reason disagrees with his own runningmate and supports Assad
ND (879 D)

@Jamie: Deal.
brainbomb (290 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
Mostly because Trumps policy on Syria is to sheep Russian intentions in the region and let Russia deal woth it.

I want Trump to win now.
I like pizza.
brainbomb (290 D)

Its cool Jamie. If Trump wins though pizzas will probably be about 30 dollars a slice after he deports all the farm laborers. Unless you want no toppings

"Regime change in Syria has always been a policy both parties see eye to eye on. Trump for whatever reason disagrees with his own runningmate and supports Assad"

That's why we vote for him.

ND is buying, Brainbomb, and he'll be buying from a UK pizza place where there will still be toppings despite Brexit.

Think about the Republican presidents over the past 30 years;
Reagan - fell asleep during cabinet meetings, would literally let foreign policy decisions be made without his input
Bush I - had clear plans and great ideas. total disaster
Bush II - had no clear plans and no ideas whatsoever. Cheney and friends ran the show. total disaster
Trump - "If I'm president we're gonna win so much, you may even get tired of winning"

Somewhere in here is a learning opportunity...
Jamiet99uk (808 D)

Also yeah Trump has a better policy on Syria than what Obama has been doing. The West has no business in Syria. Western meddling has made things much worse and prolonged the conflict causing many more deaths.
Pompeii (638 D)

Would you look at that. CBS is already reporting there's issues with voting machines automatically switching people's votes to Hillary. http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2016/11/08/some-problems-reported-as-voters-head-to-polls/
brainbomb (290 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
His policy on Syria is to support Assad. Not saying regime change is best, but letting Russia run the show isnt a display of great leadership either.
ND (879 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
Think about the Democratic presidents over the past 30 years;
Obama: was campaigning during Benghazi, frequently golfs and vacations more than any other president combined.
Bill Clinton: Was doing something else in the Oval Office with interns.
Jimmy Carter: Was so incompetent he got one term and failed at everything he ever did.

Yeah there were voting irregularities in Nevada.

Gotta say, it is rich watching Republicans complaining the kind of shit they've been pulling for years. "ooh, the lines are too long!" "Ooh, our observers are getting kicked out!" "ooh, electronic voting is easily rigged!"

Yeah, as a veteran of the Kerry campaign let me ask were were your concerns back then when you were busy stealing another presidential term?
Ogion (3882 D)

NOte that in that CBS story, the problem was caught and fixed.
JamesYanik (548 D)

@ND

the only problem I have with Obama is the way he and the state department handled Benghazi in the 2 months after it happened. They were basically lying to the American people, and pretending that it was because of some movie, when right from the get go there was intelligence linking it to ansar al sharia

they had bad coordination with the embassy, and perhaps could have saved American lives, but looking at Obama's decisions specifically, i can't fault him as much. it's the state department that ignored briefings
ND (879 D)

There is a lot of fraud going on right now. It's all over the news.

ND (879 D)

@James: Obama has done a lot of things wrong. Picking Clinton as Secretary of State was his first mistake.
JamesYanik (548 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
@Jamiet

with the amount of money HE HAS- oof. WebDip wouldn't need a donate button after i'm done with it. Also I'm buying everyone on the site a private yacht. and i'm investing in research for a soccer ball that has all the same physical attributes, but can fold upon itself and turn into the size of a bouncy ball. also i'd probably upgrade my ride.

after all these things, I feel like the last tribute to Trump would be sexually assaulting a woman. that's what all the other rich white guys do...

@ND, just as a point of interest, do you think it would be wrong for Obama to 'live up to his ideals' - whatever those may be.

ie even if you personally disagree with them, do you think he should do things that he believes in. Cause i'm curious about how you are using the word wrong.

"@Jamie: If Trump doesn't build a wall then I will buy you a pizza if we can work out the logistics of a UK/US pizza deal."

It occurs to me that, as worded, ND loses here automatically if Hillary wins the election.
ND (879 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
Wait..
orathaic (1009 D(B))
08 Nov 16 UTC
No. In the context wasn't it 'if trump wins and...'
ND (879 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
@Orathaic: So if his ideals is to destroy the country then I guess he was successful.

Polarization Self-Assessment Thread
Politics has changed A LOT in the past ten years ago. In this thread, I'd like to encourage you all to think about your past political views and how greatly you've polarized over time. What issues do you care about today vs then? Why? Any original ideas or do you rely on the media for cues? Interested to hear some real self-assessment here! :)

Why is it that all (or most rather) live games are gunboat these days? I miss playing a fast game where people actually communicate and work together like how most of the games on here are played. Any idea why? D:

Viable Strategies for Austria
Whenever I play Austria I feel like I'm strategically forced to attack Turkey. I think that if Turkey isn't killed in the early game, he is basically forced based to go through Austria if he wants to reach the rest of the world. I know that this can't be the case, but I don't see the other strategies.
I would love to learn of some other options for Austria so I don't do the same thing every time I get it.
