About the forum, it's one page only now. Do we still have the danger of threads falling off or is there some way we could actually have a second page (and use the arrow buttons on the down right)?

A small bug, and I don't know if it has been reported before nor do I know if it is worth the time to fix, but here goes.

My profile has two pages of game history and if I am on the second page and click on the profile of someone who only has a one page history, the profile page I'm shown tells me that I am on page 2 out of 1 and no games are visible. I hit the 'previous page' button and there are his games and, correctly, there is no longer a way of getting to that blank second page that shouldn't exist.

Hopefully, I am clear about this issue and I understand that there are probably lots of other things that need fixing before this, but I just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

A bug when searching through the games tabs.

If you are on, say, page 4 of 12 of the active games and then you change the tab to "my games" you are still on page '4 of 2'. Changing tabs does not reset the page location to page one.

Those last two sound like pretty much the same problem. What page you are on is being carried forward even when you change from one profile to another or one set of game listings to another.

Hiya Kestas, here's another bug for you. In the game:

four players including myself voted to draw, but we were still waiting for the fifth (and last remanining) player, to vote. Then it came to the end of the phase, and went into the following phase. At this point, the three players (other than myself) who had voted, immediately lost their votes. The text: "Votes: Draw" dissappeared from next to their names. But my own draw voted remained intact.

Before anyone suggests this, I know that those players did not log in and cancel their votes themselves, because I was watching the game at the time.

With version 0.9, all votes get reset at the end of a phase (or start of a phase for you glass half full types). So what happened is that everyone elses' votes got cleared. But either your own did not for some bizarre reason, or you re-voted to draw. (Possibly while sleepwalking/sleepdiplmoing.)

No, that's the point. I most definetely did not renew my vote. I did nothing, yet my 'draw' vote remained in place while everyone else's was reset.

Ok I have another question about 0.9:

We now have the ability to send each other private messages. When I send one, it appears in my 'notices' section on my home area. However other notices will, in time, cause it to drop off the bottom.

Is there another place where I can look back over previous private messages I have sent to - or received from - other players? If so, I can't find it.

Looking at this myself I think Sinned has a valid complaint - his order should have worked, his army at Budapest should have been able to support hold Rumania.

Minor bug report

I'm just about to have my last unit eliminated in a game, and the disband order is finalised. However, the tab at the top of the page is showing as if I had not entered a move for that game. All other games are working fine with tab display

Although Sinned is right that the syntax is odd. Support hold 'to' Rumania? It should read 'at' Rumania...

I have found a problem, either I've become very, very comupter stupid, or I can't find my game. I just started a new game, and can't find it anywhere!! I'm lost! The games tab hates me as well. I clicked on it and tried a search ealier to find a game in which a friend was playing, but it refused to actually go anywhere. And now whenever I click on the games tab, it goes straight to a failed search, no matter which tab I click on. I hope it's just my connection, but it is really frustrating.

Nevermind, I think I found a way around it. I found myself and had to click on my profile in order to get to my games, but it'll work I guess

Still no-one with an answer about the private messages? To clarify: I want to know if there is anywhere you can see the private messages you have sent, other than in the 'notices' section of the home page. Otherwise, once they drop off your 'notices', are they lost?

Private messages are kept, but the record of your sent messages aren't displayed indefinitely

The order syntax, it's wrong but that'd be from the order logs, it's correct in the order form, so it's not a pressing issue atm

Also the game that was started and went missing, is it showing up on your home page now?

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I hope others will chime in and say what they think:

When you click to "Update" your orders and the page refreshes, it brings you back down to the top of the orders section, but wouldn't it be better to go to the top of the MAP section of the page? I find that I always scroll up to view the map as I enter my orders.

Am I alone in this? Is this something that could be changed easily? What do others think?

i don't think that's a bug. it's just a preference. i'd imagine there are many opinions about it, but maybe not? i dont' muich care, myself.
