I have what may be a bug. I have two games that are paused. You know how there are little tabs at the top that tell you you have messages or orders to issue? the tabs show that I have orders in both my paused games, but when I click on them, they're still paused and it says "orders finalized"

Apologies if this was already mentioned (I did not read all 11 pages of this thread), but being able to see the number of in-game messages in a player's profile is just great!! :)

Game is stuck

The game ''noobcity'' (http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=12082) doesn't move on although everybody has entered his orders. I would please an admin to fix this.

Found another pair of issues:
1) The game http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=11535 ended in a three-way draw. The end-of game message says I received 80 (correct), but my actually number of points increased by 160 .
2) I also noticed that when you view an ended game, the number of points won by each player is not reported (it is blank).

The game ''The taking of Europe'' (http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=12292) is not reacting but all players have finalized their orders. Is there an admin to take care of that, please?

1) great job, like it overall so far.
2) Game search does not seem to work. I went to games->open and it lists many games that are not open. So, I used search to narrow it down and it failed to do so.

Sorry to be a nusiance, but just a note to remind Kestas that the game 'tea parties' still requires his attention. There was a problem caused by (a) a crash, and then (b) the fact that the game wouldn't pause despite everyone voting for a pause. Full details in a seperate thread at:

One suggestion
put the details of the current phase and year above the order dialogue so that you don't need to scroll up to remind yourself of the phase.

Also the new orders history layout could use some polishing. The inital link to a trn is misleading as it just leads you to a player breakdown.

I do not know if this was posted already, but in the game "just play", the site continuously says that I have not made a move.
However, I have, and I keep clicking on it and clicking "Unfinalize" and "Finalize"...

I just posted in another thread and then i posted another time but the second one didn't show up. Thinking something was wrong with my internet i did it three more times. I gave up and went to the homepage and then i could see all of my posts. Is this a bug? Anti-spamming tool?

I'm having the same problem as redcrane in "The Capital Wasteland". To add more data, it's in the unit-placing phase and I'm specifying to destroy my last unit. :/

Crashed games seem to be appearing quite often at the moment, its clearly a 'bug' as it didnt seem to happen in the previous version.

What happens when the game crashes? How do we get the game back, or is it just over?

I'm not sure if this has been reported (as I don't want to read through this whole thread!) but after finishing a game recently (gameID=11496) for a 3 way draw, I seem to have really shot up in points! Not that I'm really complaining, but just thought I should mention this. I was supposed to win 203 but have somehow shot up to 515 ! I'm sure I was under 200 before this game finished. You may want to investigate Kestas...

While I'm here, also still some weird things going on in the forum when pressing the back and forward buttons in the latest version of Firefox on my PCs. Pressing once brings up scroll bars on the forum and pressing a 2nd time seems to then change pages.

Also, don't want to bitch and moan too much, but performance is very slow lately and the voting in game is sometimes not taking (maybe because of a mixture of voting by the buttons and the commands?)

Kestas found that when a game is drawn, people are credited with their share of the draw twice. Not double the points once, but the correct number of points twice.

For example, the game that you and I just drew with TheWizard, the game message indicates that we got 10 but we each got those 10 twice for a total of 20 .

Kestas indicated that he'll be able to remove the extra points but is first needing to track down why the draw points are being awarding twice.

texas' problem specifically I fixed yesterday, but didn't copy the updated code across. There may still be some problems remaining but I haven't found them on the dev server yet

And also I want to wait until Im fairly sure all is well with the points system before using the points transaction logs to correct any mistaken allocations
