What is this? (Ancient Med map)
This is probably gonna sound stupid but, what is that L shaped, light blue thing on the Ancient Med map? It can't be just my PC since it appears on my laptop as well.

Edi Birsan End of Game Statement, please discuss:
I wanted to say thank you to all the players for this game and especially to Akroma who made it very interesting and entertaining for me. I think we all know that she had a won game here and elected not to take it. For me that is the sign of breaking through the status of a veteran into a higher field of play.

Why do people call Turkey the worst nation to be?
Why? Italy's WAY worse than Turkey to draw, if France goes all crazy and attack you from the start, good luck. If you try to lepanto, almost every Turkish player has seen that, and If you ally with Austria, they hardly ever trust you and as soon as you start dieing, they dive head first at you. Is there anybody here who actually LIKES to play Italy?

How many CDs are enough?
Personally, I think two CDs within the first 2 years, or 2 or more later on when one of the CDs is, for example, the largest power on the board.

What happens if?
If two armies try to enter an empty territory with equal support, they bounce. What happens to the occupying army if two armies try to enter an occupied territory, each having the same support, and the occupying army has no support at all?

I always want to try Havarti. Maybe that and muenster will be my next cheese experiments... Also, I'm going to try a PB and honey sandwich today, although I think I need jam, too.

Peanut butter, honey, and raspberry jam tastes delicious, I have just discovered! I approve!

Last time I was at the Rimrock they served me toast with Canadian bacon and some type of jam, it was awesome. So I started making myself that kind of toast for breakfast.

BTW, anyone who skis/snowboards in Banff, Rimrock is the way to go (unless you ski LL, then stay at Chateau LL). It is slightly cheaper than the Banff Springs hotel, and to be honest the rooms are nicer. But the Banff Springs has better food... so tossup.

@Draugnar, Tillamook is also made in Oregon, specifically in Tillamook, Oregon.

My wife likes dill Havarti, but that's just not my sort of thing. I like dill pickles and I like cheese and I'll put them both on a sandwich, but I don't need extra dill already in the cheese.
KaptinKool (408 D)

Best cheese is for a regular occasion probably between aged cheddar, asiago or camembert.

I like em either strong or fairly soft, no in between garbage.

I thought Tillamook was in Conn. Oh well, shows how much I know. Try regular (not dilled) havarti with smoked turkey on a croissant. Add a touch of raspberry or strawberry preserves or the usual, mayonaise. Also a little crisp green lettuce (whole leaf romaine is great). It's a mild and sweet sandwich that goes well with a lighter chicken broth based soup.

Never heard of Italian wedding soup. Do you have to go to an actual Italian wedding to get it? (Serious question as I've never heard of it.)

I'm a big fan of minestrone soup. A nice vegetable beef is good too. Gotta have some good chunks of tomatoes though.

Many good local Italian restaurants (I don't mean national chains like Olive Garden) will have it on their menu on occassion. I know of one or two in the Cinci area where it is a regular item on the menu and love it.

I've bought it at the supermarket in cans, even. It won'tbe great, but you can try it out, Alderian.

Cambell's has a tolerable one. I eat it for lunch on occassion with a grilled cheese (Tilamook Cheddar and Lorraine Swiss on Split Top Whole Wheat).

My favorite sandwich roasted duck breast with a yogurt blue cheese sauce.
Fry garlic add yogurt add crumbled blue cheese season with salt pepper and fresh dill, reduce sauce.Place sauce over duck breast, garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.Serve on fresh homemade bread or bun.Excellent sanwich eh.

What's not to like about sandwiches? Meat, bread, cheese, fruits and veggies, pick what you want so you get what you like.

My typical homemade sandwhich is whole wheat bread, smoked turkey, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, dill pickles, lettuce and either red or white onions. Very, very thin layer of mayo and a enough mustard to add some flavor without taking over.

When I go to the Pita Pit, I get chicken and bacon and most of the same other ingredients except sprouts instead of pickles. And sometimes mushrooms. No mayo needed on a pita though, just the mustard.

Draugnar (0 DX)

OK, I just had homemade spaghetti (well the sauce was homemade, Barilla vermicelli for the pasta) and that Turkey sandwich (sans tomato) sounds so good I'm getting hungry again.

Another good 'sandwich' is made using folded up crepes with topping inside sort of like a funnel. Downtown Cincinnati has a place called Just Crepes and they make these delectable concoctions. My favorite has ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green pepper, provolone cheese, and pizza sauce. Veggies and meat are sautéd and chopped up while the crepe cookse the the crepe is lined with cheese and sauce and the sauté put on and it is all folded up into a triangular flat funnel shape. Damn is it good.

England should not open to the English Channel in gunboat
As France, considering I was thoroughly screwed because Germany and Italy moved unrelentingly against me, I decided to take England down with me. And this decision came totally because England opened to EC in gunboat.

I'm always looking for new music and I'm curious to know what you like. Musical tastes can tell a lot about a person I believe. So, post the name of the performer and the name of the song and try to include a video link so that we might hear it too. I'll start.

How to get more D's?
I am new to webdiplomacy, and I am playing quite a few games at the same time. The problem is that I do not feel that the games are moving fast enough, and I have only 1 D to play - meaning I am not able to join any more games.

Is there a way to borrow D's? Or even to play without D's?
