My philosophy is simple. Striderknight was not banned, so clearly he was not doing something wrong, then someone was making an honest mistake. Should the software detect the two accounts with a same IPs and prevent them both to be in a same game.

Get a simple policy, write simple codes to save a lot of grief later.

But then again, you need to grow up first. You are so immature, I would imagine your work is also very immature.

@Meep - at the risk of jumping into this, the mods do not automatically ban people for metagaming, especially new people. They removed them from the game in question, explained the rules to them and let them move on. Now, if they do it again, I see a banning in their future. But not banning does not mean they didn't break the rules.

I already offer:
"If the Dev have need for coding, I can write Algorithm for you guys to code. Clearly I am not set up nor I want to get involved in the details. But if you have a need for some algorithm, I can write Pseudo codes to help out. Perhaps I can demonstrate my competency by writing Pseudo code to resolve/process moves to impress the Devs here?"

You are challenging me in a wrong thread. You should have challenged me in the above thread. You really need to grow up.

Pseudo code does no good if you don't understand the framework upon which the application is built. Download the source code from sourceforge and pseudocode away with any improvements. Just be sure to indicate where your method should be called at. This isn't a from scratch project so just any old algorithm isn't going to fit with the framework that Kestas developed.

Oh, and your logic is flawed yet again.

If I speed and the cop gives me a warning, I was still breaking the law. He just chose to show leniency towards me.

Likewise if a couple of players metagame, they are still breaking the site rules and the mods just chose to give them a warning and a second chance instead of banning them. Be thankful we don't jave jackboot Nazi mods like some sites.

This is the same logical error you made in the other thread. You are assuming that people always get banned when they do something wrong. But there are other options. They might just get a warning, or they could plead insanity (this is known as the "I forgot to take my meds defence"), for example.

They could also get docked points... Or if it is a forum related issue they can get silenced for a period of time... etc. etc. etc.

Banning is a last resort. There are multiple other options we take before a ban is considered.

Hey jmo, why can't the host prevent the person to enter the game when there is another account with the same IP is already in the game? Everytime the person tries, put out a message to explain the policy.

That would be much less work to manually chase down those cases. It's very possible in a house a bunch of guys share a rent place and an IP address. How can they play? The software should protect them from making an honest mistake.

He was seen yesterday at 2PM Eastern time. Guess what? You can click on his profile and see when he was last on.

The network load balancer assigns connection when requested across a series of internet IPs to the internal ones.
