I grow tired seeing the same sensible and rational openings over and over again. I want to play a gunboat with a decent pot, quality players and something very odd happening. So I propose the following:

- A 143 buy in
- 25 or 48 hour phases, to be agreed on
- WTA anon gunboat
- A gentlemen's/ladies' agreement to NOT use any of the 10 most common openings for your country

So if you draw England, you can't do a Churchill. You can, however, make a Pudding or do the brilliant Clyde variation of The Splits. If you're Germany, you can experiment wildly with Silesia or Heligoland Bight or even Bohemia. If you're Turkey, you're fucked.

I'm very curious what kind of game this variant would produce. And I also want to be amused. Who is with me?
