Well, why not do as I suggest and help make her first experience that much more positive by helping her? It's your call and you can PM me the password. I will join, but the logic is solid. If you withdraw and let six other's of us play her with you as her advisor, she will probably enjoy it more and do much better her first time out. You will essentially be her training wheels that way.

Hey Draugnar, that's a very valid consideration, but I'm gonna play. I want to hook up some people at work for this game so I can organise gaming nights. I think the element of someone she knows being a country she doesn't know which it is will add to the pleasure of discussing this game afterward. Also, I told her I'd be in it and you don't break word with a lady unpunished. That being said, I'll introduce my next friend in the way you propose. Password was already sent to you!

I'm in. And you should encourage her to join the game with the next friend if she knows them (but make it clear they can't meta of course) and then that person will have the advantage of one friend playing with/against them and another as mentor.
