Anonymous games don't show up in search?
I set the Anonymous option to All in the my-game search, and it doesn't show the one I just created (Gordon Gekko For President #13309). Can we not watch to see how many have signed up?

Rule clarification
Take a look at waht ahppened in Munich on this map... It looks like Munich held off a 2 strong attack with no support. Munich move to sil with support from berlin, which was cut. and so failed. Rhue move to munich with support form kiel should have failed when munich failed to move to sil. then Tyr to Munich supported form Boh should have dislodge the single strength of the unit in Munich.

OR am I wrong and if so how come?

Just wondered what other games you guys and girls play on- line. Im sticking with a game called Norron at the moment but its becoming tedious so im looking for something else to play....

Werewolves? Is that the Facebook App? Or something more serious, sounds good.

werewolf is much better in person than online, not that i've ever played online, but the act that private communication shouldn't be allowed (except with the GM) and that being able to convince a group of people by being loud, or quiet, or any other convincing-ness losses much in any form of online system.

Email games can't compare. I mean f2f dip i pretty different, but dip has such a tactical element which can easily be discussed in text, whereas Werewolf has less information and everyone is a threat, building allinaces in a game of werewolf, (with people who you can't be sure you can trust) is very hard, and your allies will turn on you almost at he drop of a hat...

great game to be sure. I love it. Have sat in a room for hours on end playing over and over again...

thanks. :)
there are good online/forum based variants, which i have played, and they're not as good.

I know what i'm tlaking about when i say play the face-to-face sitting in a cirlce in a room with a group of people, werewolf is a really good game.

"not that i've ever played online"

"there are good online/forum based variants, which i have played"

That, for instance, would definitely get you voted.
orathaic (1009 D(B))

it's not the same game. there is a blob/vampire version where there s one bad guy and he turn more people into bad guys.

and the statement "it's probably crap, but i haven't played it; also the offline version is great" is an entirely valid thing to say. I know what i think, but i'm also telling you my information is limited, so you can make up your own mind; but try the offline version. pish! piffle and pi-sah
orathaic (1009 D(B))

oh, and that sort of coherent arguement you're hearing, which can be conveyed in text/email format, can't be conveyed in a room full of loud players who are competing to be heard...

and in a game with limited information where a mob mentality rules, (and the werewolves have to take advantage of this to win) the simpleness of an arguement can be vital to it's success.

Settlers of Catan @ asobrain.com - which is the best app for the game online i've found

also played at evony.com for a while, but it was too easy...

I used to play utopia as well - at echeton games right? it was GREAT game... but way too time intensive.

@ vamosrammstein "Does this include flash games?"

Im was interested to find out any and all games that you guys play on- line. Most of my time is taken up with WebDip but im wanted to find more Strategy/ RPG/ Tactical games that i could get into.

Keep the ideas and web locations coming so i can check them out.

Nice topic! I will have to try out the Axis and Allies. I am big fan of that game, but haven't played many games because of the time it takes FtF. Thanks for the link

Question Regarding Support
My apologies if this is posted elsewhere but I have been unable to find the answer to this query. If country A attacks county B and country C support moves A to B while country D support holds country C and country E moves to country C. Does the support move issued by C help the A move into B? Or does the attack by E cut the entire Change?
