To Americans
Learn from this mistake. When given a chance to elect someone like Bernie again, do it. Don't go for the person that's a part of the establishment. It could've been Bernie getting ready for his victory speech now. You threw that chance away when you LET the establishment decide Bernie wouldn't win. Learn from this mistake so that you don't make it again. Better luck next time.

Polarization Self-Assessment Thread
Politics has changed A LOT in the past ten years ago. In this thread, I'd like to encourage you all to think about your past political views and how greatly you've polarized over time. What issues do you care about today vs then? Why? Any original ideas or do you rely on the media for cues? Interested to hear some real self-assessment here! :)

If a game hasn't been filled with players by the time it is scheduled to start, what happens? Does the game terminate or start anyway?

Live Game Discussion
Why is it that all (or most rather) live games are gunboat these days? I miss playing a fast game where people actually communicate and work together like how most of the games on here are played. Any idea why? D:

Post in this thread and positivity
Lately I feel I've been too cynical and negative so I need to change that.
Post something, a person or thing and I'll find something positive about it.

I'll start off with three freebies.

Hillary: I like her approach to solving the environment problem. The wiki leaks emails actually show that it's something she's worrying about, and she's doing it in a smart way.

Trump: He's a very good business man and is never afraid to try new things. Even when they fail, he's still never afraid. I can respect that.

Brainbomb: I respect his passion and I believe he truly does do his best to do what's right. He can be really witty and does great impressions.

Ok. I'm behind.

TrPrado, you're great because because you're not aggravating to talk politics with.
Webdip mods are great because they ban those annoying oil painting sellers.
Hitler was an animal lover which is cool.
Frat parties are good until sometime spills beer all over your calculus assignment.
Your sock slipping off makes your appreciate good sucks more.
Believe it or not but in class yesterday we were talking about how some medical injections need to be from needle in the eye. It's sometimes necessary and mostly psychologically hard.
Poorly fitting suits means your not wasting money buying a knew suit.
Ndp Albertan party is good because they're telling Trudeau to take his carbon tax he said he wouldn't do and shove it. They're also arguing for a pipeline which if ironically better for the environment than what we currently use to distribute oil to the eastern provinces.
Krellin, that's a touching story that your wife was willing to help you through it. How beautiful.

...a group theoretically dedicated to solving racial injustices focuses on the extremely small minority of injustices committed by the people dedicating to protecting them who daily lay their lives on the line and the overwhelming majority of the time do no harm...and completely ignores the injustices said group commits upon itself...

Viable Strategies for Austria
Whenever I play Austria I feel like I'm strategically forced to attack Turkey. I think that if Turkey isn't killed in the early game, he is basically forced based to go through Austria if he wants to reach the rest of the world. I know that this can't be the case, but I don't see the other strategies.
I would love to learn of some other options for Austria so I don't do the same thing every time I get it.
