The Most Evil American? (And Most Evil Brit Too, Why Not?)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-macaray/the-most-evil-american-in-history-wasnt-even-a-politician_b_6385188.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592 The article's choice? J. Edgar Hoover...and that's not a bad pick...nor are Andrew Jackson for the Democrats, or Richard Nixon for the Republicans. So--Most Evil American...and why not, Most Evil Brit? (PLEASE NOT DUBYA BUSH *OR* OBAMA...let's avoid that partisan cliche and allow history more time to judge both, eh?)

Is Coffee for Closers?
For those of you unfamiliar, the statement comes from a scene in Glengary Glen Ross: http://tinyurl.com/bkyyzlb . Basically it's about how if you want to do something, do it, and about not feeling entitled. I also recently read an article on Cracked which I will link here: http://bit.ly/1epy3r8 . So, how do you guys feel about the message of the speech and the article? Agree? Disagree? Kittens over Mittens? Please discuss.

I'll take on the GM role alone initially but I would love to have a co-GM if anyone is interested in that.

Today I got an email granting me an extension on paying for my first term in college I'm not going to go into details but literally 2 hours ago I was convince I wouldn't returning to school. Now I know for sure I am. This gives me absolute faith in humanity and reaffirms my choice in schools.

Race and Ethnicity
Recently, I have been filling out lots of forms. During this process, I have discovered a rather disturbing fact. Apparently, I do not have an ethnicity, nor even a race sometimes. In these forms many ethnicities are listed, from Aleut to Vietnamese. But while many small islands or island groups are present, I can't find Eastern European, or even Caucasian! Why is it that these are not considered of equal value to list as Samoan, or Guamanian?

Seems like flying in south east asian planes is a really bad idea.
CommanderByron (801 D(S))
28 Dec 14 UTC
Idk there's something off about the idea that two planes go missing within a year of eachother in the same geographic area. I'm calling this one as foul play, and Malaysian flight 370. Simply put both came from areas with a high Muslim population and recorded terrorist groups; I think no one climes responsibility for the first one because it didn't go according to plan and that will probably happen with this one. (Or it did go according to plan, steal two planes and go missing of the face of the earth. Then refuel them and fly them into something)
thdfrance (162 D)
28 Dec 14 UTC
Terrorism doesn't usually involve a plan that forward thinking. It's more about immediate exposure.

The pilot asked to change course due to the weather. I'm guessing that this one is about weather. Also the whole damn point of terrorism is thet YOU TAKE CREDIT so you TERRORIZE people. So in sum, CommanderByron is wrong unless someone does end up taking credit.

ssoren- In this case, crashing a plane in the middle of the ocean where no one can even determine the cause of the accident they do. Otherwise it makes absolutely no sense that they destroy a plane when no one even knows how it was destroyed. What political purpose is served by the world thinking the plane went down in a storm?
Yoyoyozo (65 D)
28 Dec 14 UTC
Well I doubt its a terrorist attack but CommanderBryon's theory still stands possible. It's possible that it didn't go as planned and so they don't take credit for it happening.

It's sorta like the things that the U.S government does. When they do something and it goes horribly wrong, they just blame someone else.
Invictus (240 D)
28 Dec 14 UTC
Who are these terrorists who don't take credit for their actions, ssorenn?

It's much too early to say what happened. It could be terrorism. It could be weather. It could be aliens.

@Invictus
The poisoning of alcohol during Prohibition. They intended to only make people sick and expected only minimal deaths but it ended up killing over 10,000 people. They refused blame until some time after the prohibition was repealed.

The testing of LSD on poor blacks, telling them that it was a cure for syphilis.

The testing of atomic bombs with human subjects (most were U.S. Soldiers BTW) in vicinity.

Need I go on?

@bo- is your flight flying over any disputed territory or passing through international airspace? If it's over disputed territory you might get shot down... If over international waters Russia love screwing with other flights in the air.

A Thing - 2nd Edition
Hi again!

Domino's Pizza here in Japan is incredibly expensive. A single large pizza from Domino's is nearly 4,000 yen, which is about $35 in the US. Japan has very few obese people. Japan has almost zero instances of bloating before bedtime. I have only seen one person the size of a sumo wrestler (my dad) since arriving in a city of 30 million people. Coincidence, right?
