Congratulations 33. I'm sure copy-pasting took very much of your incredible memory.
That said, pi is awesome. I had 155 digits memorized once, but I only remember around 65 now.

I never bothered with more than 10. And for most practical purposes 355/113 is an excellent approximation (correct to 4 digits).

Memorizing Pi is ultimately futile. Most mathematicians wont bother going past 3 or 4 digits.

I just use 3.14159 when doing calculations where Pi is not available on the calculator I'm using. Most languages have a Pi function.

Torrents are *not* illegal. Whoever told you that was a fool, Diplotool. Torrents of copyrighted material are illegal, but filesharing itself is not. And last I checked, Pi is not copyrightable.

Just because some, or even most, of the torrent downlkoads contain copyrighted material does not make torrents illegal. In fact, just because a torrent is copyrighted doesn't make it illegal. The copyright holder can post it themselves or give others permission to post it and it becomes 100% legal.

The funny thing is I can perfectly see D33 remembering pi to a 1000 digits and still not being able to calculate the surface of a circle of a given diameter with it.

Circles don't have surfaces. They have a circumference. A sphere has a surface area one can cumpute, but not a circle.

WTF did that mean? *You* state a circle has a surface and then say I have something in common with him? Whatever. You're the idiot who thinks a circle has a surface. Circles have enclosed volumes in square units and circumferences in units. Spheres have surfaces in sq. units and volumes in cubic units.

a noob question
ok as a noob to this great game I have a question, when I move into a new country with a supply center, on the next turn it shows my unit there with a little square that is my colour and the country is still the same colour as the "enemy". why is this? do I need to leave my army to "hold" the country for a turn? or am I miss understanding the rules?
