Check out this game ID 25001.Germany aka Barry Jones is the worst player I've ever seen attempt to play this game Post your game Id with your own worst player you have encountered.we should have special list for them like Hellatt has and up date it and let them know who they are.Even if we have bump it once and awhile there names should be first page of forum so all can see and read.

The Mt. Rushmore of Sports

The Greeks and Romans honored their heroes in everlasting statues, why shouldn't we, Americans and Englishmen and Canadians and People Today? The Mount Rushmore of Baseball- which for faces? And where to put the site? The same for Basketball, Football (American and that game the rest of the world seems to love so much), Hockey, Olympics. Who are the heroes that should look down from the mountaintops on us forever?

blatant cheating in gunboat games

The cheating in gunboat games is ridiculous. I just got pushed out of one in an obvious way, only to discover at the end that the two players, TeethofFury and lovehate32, play together in most of their games. Multi playing? I don't know, but things are definitely rigged against others when the game is supposed to be anonymous.

A good way to fix this would be to just disable draw votes when there is no in-game messaging.

I am experiencing a higher level of cheating in my games than for some time... It is there, of course, it always is, but since the variants have been introduced (variant maps) there seems to have been a resurgence of intellectually challenged behaviour. I wonder whether these same players spend their time trying to find cheats for on-lime shooter games etc?

For those of you tempted by the World Map I warn you: with 17 players needed, it is significantly less likely that there will be 17 good and true men among them.

Yeah, the cheating in that game is pretty transparent and obvious. Germany could've made one move and won. The cheating on this site is so rampant, why the admins wont' do anything about it is beyond me.

I have said the same thing- best thing to do is to AVOID gunboat games- UNLESS THEY are not ANON- least that way you can check out the profiles...
but its beyond a joke now- i dont play em

I reported someone who admitted cheating and have never received a reply to me email- and granted they were banned 2 mths later- but none of us who were playing the cheat/s got our points back- quite unfair really- so we get punished for cheats on the site?

Nice threadjack, folks.

OP talks about two or more players often in the same games and I have noticed the same behavior. To make it worse, some of the players seem to randomly CD, usually to the benefit of their cohorts. I'm a big fan of checking profiles before joining games.

I'm not sure how it is a threadjack when it is on point. mel1980 and coolseed are two players that are often in the same game, often live anonymous gunboat games, and mel1980 has the audacity to says "Oh, yeah, I hate it when people do that too!"

I like anonymous gunboats. I don't think I have run into any cheaters (though I'd be willing to bet a current game of mine, someone is thinking I'm a cheater). If I play regular games, I suffer from tall poppy syndrome.

While I have not looked at all of Mel's game's, the few I have that Coolseed played in were not exceedingly successful. Having played in a game with them, I also thought they may indeed be one player, but as the game went on I noticed Cool miss quite a few turns(which saved my ass) while Mel missed none. Strange behavior if one player was playing England and Italy and gaining up on France.

Recently I've been having this problem with my Diplomacy. Most times I try and type a message to another country I just hear a pinging noise and it won't let me type. I have to refresh the page many times to finally be able to type. Anyone have this problem/the answer?

Any way to boot CD players?

We've got a world variant running (gameID=24828) and it's going swimmingly, except Quebec never showed up. So now every turn we have to wait two days even if everyone is ready. Can we boot him somehow? Or set him to just autohold every turn?
