Hey guys,
I was in a F2F game tonight with a couple of friends new to diplomacy, and there was an argument over the following situation.
Russia (me):
A StP-Nor
F Swe S A StP-Nor
(at the likely demand of one of my opponents, I will add that I did NOT have an army going to StP at the same time, although I argued this made no difference).
England (opponent):
A Nor-StP
A Yor-Nor
F Nth C A Yor-Nor
Now, since I'm the most experienced with dip rules, I was adjudicating the game, and this was my ruling:
A Stp-Nor (SUCCESS, dislodges enemy unit)
F Swe S A StP-Nor SUCCESS
A Nor-StP (BOUNCE, DISLODGE)
A Yor-Nor (BOUNCE)
F Nth C A Yor-Nor (convoyed unit BOUNCE)
However, they were arguing that my ruling was incorrect, notably because there isn't a specific example of this exact situation in the rule book. We stopped the game there, and my players required a find a source to confirm my ruling.
Hence, I ask you, Is my ruling adequate or not?
