Not necessarily, but the more times SYnapse asks for a -1 option as a direct result of your post, the funnier you are in general.

The correlation/causation function is reversed. +1s *lead to* humor!

Lets test this theory in my next post. I am going to post a dry, humorless passage with no implication of irony, sarcasm, or wit. What follows is likely the most boring passage I can think of writing. I want you to +1 this passage. YJ will report whether or not it gets funnier with the addition of more +1s.

As a control, compare this post to Zultar's thread. Zultar gets lots of +1s but he is not funny.
