I was Italy. Austria (some noob) CDed right away. I held the "Draw" tag for two years, but there wasn't a consensus, so we played on. I swept across Austrian SCs. Then France (MichiganMan) decided to become England's bitch. And when I say bitch, I mean it. France stopped licking England's balls only when England (thatwasawkward) was already sticking it in every hole France had left open. MichiganMan, what were you thinking?

Anyway, congratulations, thatwasawkward.

Oh, I forgot: at the end, MichiganMan left the game for a whole year precisely at the time when we should have set up the stalemate lines. And we would have held them, too. Inexcusable.

Heh, thanks I guess. I think I appeared fairly non-threatening to France for a while... and in fairness he was a bit more preoccupied with defending himself from you to really avoid my stab.
All in all I got lucky with early NMRs and France mostly dissolving after my attack. It was definitely a tough game... I think I'm on the verge of getting a migraine, heh.

I seem to remember a thread where MM promised he was going to stop doing that and asked us to trust him. Oh well...

Fortress Door, if you have a valid reason for CDing, you don't play live games.

so you are supposed everything that could possibly happen for the next three hours? When i join live games, i like to make sure i have nothing happening for the next three hours but stuff happens

I explained myself, I was sitting here playing, then all of a sudden my wireless went down. I had no idea what happened. I rebooted my computer, it didn't come back on. I had to go up stairs to my office to check the router and modem. At that time I figured out that one of our cats had been messing with the cords and pulled the plug on the modem. I plugged it back in, logged back in, and finished out the game.

Further, I didn't "prostate myself" and this is the first time that I went CD in a game since the day I posted that apology. Bottom line Zmaj, you're a jerk. You swore at me needlessly, and continually acted like you're shit doesn't stink. Sorry I didn't turn on England sooner. But, as I told you, I was forced to react in a southerly manner due to your insistence upon trying to take the Western Med and Piedmont. I was making progress against Germany, and could have mounted a defense had it not been the comedy we were playing in the south.

further, calling me England's bitch is pretty obnoxious. we seemed to be allied and doing pretty well together. he was building armies and seemed content to fight russia. it as a good stab, and one that I might have been able to dissuade him from attempting had you not continued your assault of my holdings. you forced me to leave my northern flank open to england's stab.

Also Zmaj I had to give up my Northern defences and yield to England but you didn't react to the danger soon enough. You could have supported me against England in the East rather than continue attacking me. If you had pressed DRAW earlier I would have given up Southern units and defended against England. You seemed to underestimate England completely or at least did very little to stop the pink tide. Looks like even you don't get it 100% right all of the time :-)

Course it didn't help that Turkey was playing like an idiot......
