I'm not sure why you can't see the game you've created. Do you see it on the right side of your home page whem you're logged in (that's where all your games' summaries show up)?

When you see the game you've created just copy the address from address bar and paste it here. I guess it should work even if you open your game not being logged in. Also, you might wanna make a new thread with the "new game" in the name to attract people to join your game.

As to "open" games, these are supposed to be the games where one (or more) player(s) went to civil disorder (CD), i.e. they didn't submit any orders for 2 consecutive turns. You can replace these players by paying certain amount of points calculated based on the number of supply centers (SC's) said players posess at the moment. Beware however that a lot of countries in CD are in a very bad position, so you can jump right into the inevitable defeat. That is by no means to discourage you from taking over CD'd countries, just to warn you not to do it blindly.

Now, in the current version of the website (updated yesterday) there is some bug about these "open" games: many of them don't have anyone in CD and aren't in fact open for takeover. I haven't figured it out yet but asked about that in the forum, so hopefully the bug will be fixed soon.

Oh, one more thing. If I might give an advice right along with my welcoming note, that would be the following one: please try not to never ever go CD yourself. It's a sign of bad sportsmanship and disrespect for other players in the game, since it always ruins the balance of a game. No matter how bad things are for you in the game, fight it out till the end, don't just quit.

Great timing, the site just updated, so we're all playing around with new features here.

Maybe it doesn't show the games in New because it filters out games you are in.

And maybe it doesn't show in my games because it hasn't started yet? Not sure why it would be that way.

At the least it should show up on your home page. Click on the Home link to the left of the Forum link at the top.

I was expecting it to show up in 'my games', but I guess it could have been missing because it hadn't started yet. I did eventually figure out that it showed up on my home page.

Anyway, both of those games have filled up now, so it's time for me to go and get myself brutally betrayed and massacred.
