Attention please:

broken game

with an hour to go and my ally and i having not finalized the turn moved forward by itself even those who did finalize some moves were not made. The game is "european militarism gone wild" what should i do?

I was participating in a number of league games and a team variant in which I left and never returned due to circumstances that were unavoidable. Working long hours, school, and irregular sleeping patterns were certainly to blame!! For this I would like to say that I am deeply sorry to those of you who experienced any negative feelings towards me.

I hope to rejoin this wonderful community and begin Diplomacy anew!! I eagerly await the new league season and second round of the GFDT and look forward to playing with the stiff competition that I know this community of players will always provide. Good luck to all in the future, and my most sincere apologies to everyone. I make a promise to all of you that I will not leave again without finishing my ongoing games.

Another newbie question

Thanks in advance for your answers. How does the software here deal with countries who are not in CD, but the player simply fails to write any disbanding order when he has more units than centers? What is the default result?

I know there have been compilations of how often each country wins (yay for Turkey), I've never seen anything about openings on the forum. Has, or can, anyone ever made/make a list of orders for each power with how often they are used?

Is this a standoff?

This is a newbie question, I know, but what happens if Power A moves unit A1 to a space occupied by unit A2, and unit A2 is sent against Power B's unit B1, while unit B2 has been sent to the space occupied by A2, and is supported by B1. Is this a standoff as I suppose?

Newb questions

1) Is there any way to recolor the army/navy units on the map to match their country of origin?

2) If you input orders but do not finalize them - and then the timer runs out - do your units hold or go with their last set of marching orders.
