Can you hand over a country without going into civil disorder?

Is it possible to hand over your country, in good order, to another player without sitting around for three turns and going into civil disorder first?

Fun with Welfare

It just occurred to me that I would have a lot of fun going to the grocery store to buy a two-liter bottle of diet coke and a pack of Mentos -- nothing more -- with food stamps.

3 questions

1.I was watching my wife cut the grass while I was drinking a beer & playing with my 3 year old son. A bad thing?
2.While she was cutting the grass, I thought to my self, if I supported my wife from the drive way she would get the job done faster. Diplomacy on the brain?
3.At least I was not playing diplomacy while she was cutting the grass right? Sorry, had to share:)

Anyone got any good suggestions for how to stop it?

I am using GMail and have recently been plagued with the 'Joe Bloggs' type of spam. I always junk it but it seems to have to be done manually (unless I am missing something here). Apart from being annoying, I simply must hit the wrong button sooner or later.

What was that estimate, 1 mug for every 12.5 million spam messages?

I can never expect to get through 12.5 million safely - I still mess up Dip orders occasionally.

If you use the "Report Spam" button on Gmail, it should begin to recognize spam and filter more effectively.

Also, if you're referring to the email you have listed in your profile, you should really write it like:

Address: flashman
Provider: gmail

and then people will know it's [email protected], but bots won't.

If I remember well email addresses here are images, not text, so bots here cannot get anything useful :)

Nuts, I've been deleting the stuff when I should have been reporting it...

Mind you, I have two buttons to think about now and that will increase the chance of a mistake.

I get ridiculous spam on my hotmail, but only a couple times on gmail. This is why I don't use hotmail anymore. The few times I've gotten spam on gmail were resolved by reporting as spam, and I'm happy to say I haven't heard back from them.

And yes, the fact that the e-mails are images are a real nuisance when I'm trying to mass contact multi accounters. =/

yes i used to get loads of spam on an old hotmail address but with yahoo its fine. main thing is not giving your address to websites/corp/organizations willynilly ( care freely )

I use my hotmail account when registering for anything and most of he spam goes there. gmail is for friends/ family and is pretty much clean so far

Retreat Rule Question

Can a unit retreat to a territory that is was attacked from? For instance, let's say that Bulgaria was attacked from Rumania with support from the Black Sea. For the adjustment phase Rumania is now empty. Can the army that was in Bulgaria retreat to Rumania? Thank you for your help.

Spain/Portugal

What happens if there is a fleet in Portugal, and a fleet on the South Coast of Spain. The fleet in Portugal moves to the North Coast of Spain, and the fleet in the South Coast of Spain moves to Portugal. Do they bounce, or does the move work?
(this would also apply to Bulgaria/Constantinople)
