I have a legal question: If, hypothetically, a few years ago I had been about to die an early and painful death, and if, hypothetically, Mephistopheles had showed up and offered to purchase my soul in exchange for a few more years of life, and if, hypothetically, I had signed his contract, could I now argue that it was signed under duress, and thereby get away with my soul intact?
I need an answer by midnight on the night of the first full moon after the coming summer solstice. Hypothetically, of course.
