I'm not insisting you believe. I personally don't give a fuck one way or the other. I just want you to realize the two do not, bu their very nature, have to be incompatible. A belief in a supernatural higher power is, by it's definition, outside of nature. Science, by it's very purpose, only looks to explore nature and understand it. I firmly believe in an infinite universe that cycles through "big bangs" and collapses. I believe in evolution both micro and macro. These are not incompatible with believing a higher power created the laws of physics and granted us the ability to think and reason.

i don't know where anyone said that DRAUG is not entitled to believe that...would you like a bozo button too, as your door prize...the basis of having a forum is being able to express ones views and i have mine and you may have yours...i also do give a rats ass how you feel about it either,stomp your feet and punch a wall for all i care....you and your thoughts can dig a whole to china,and burn at the earths core, but i respect that other people have different thoughts than my own, and you should too

You didn't give an opinion, you stated a view as if it were fact. The true fact is that religion and science are not necessarily mutually exclusive. You stated they were which is a big ass (and only a dumbass would make it) claim as it includes all religions, some of which you and I have never heard of.

Also, why is it that every time someone disagrees with you ,you want to make it personal. Are you that insecure. At 50 I think you should be more comfortable in your own skin.

I'm not 50. Still got a little ways. And the issue wasn't the opinion, but that it was presented as fact when it is demonstrably wrong. Your opinion could be that the moon is made of green cheese, that doesn't make it right and your presenting it as a fact would be worthy of disdain and correction.

I said that science and religion are different, that's my belief. Read into it how you want. The two in my estimation have no commonality. It is what I said from the start. Go back and reread.

RIP Bob Crow

There are not many people who achieve as big an impact on the lives and minds of the British people as Bob Crow. I did not often agree with him, indeed I can't remember ever agreeing with him, but he was without doubt a man of principle who fought tirelessly for his beliefs and earned no small amount of respect. Rest in peace.

Need two players for a solid full-press game.

We're looking for two reliable players—either with no CDs or with very few CDs that can be explained away—to fill out gameID=137177. We’ve played several games together with largely the same group (a few rotate in and out each game), and they've all been good games with lots of press. They're pretty balanced as well--no solos yet.
